X-Box - 80% only done?!?!?!? Are they gonna make it?

Well there is 29 more days until the game is scheduled to be in stores, and With the confirmation from someone who went to one of the Expos(I believe Kano_Fan) and they said it was only 80% done, do you think they will make it?

It possible its just bugs adn little things, but 20% is still alot. Do you think they will make the deadline?

That just means the build they had at the show was 80% done. It doesn't mean the one in-house is 80% done.

I believe he said the X-Box version was ONLY 80% done, I dont think that was the one current for play, I thought the same thing at first.

Eh, I'm confident they can get in MK Deception on time. 80% sounds alright to me.

The version PLAYED was only 80% done. The game itself is pretty much finished. You're misreading or someone poorly worded what they were saying.

No, he didn't. He said that the version shown at the show was 80% done.
yeah at that one point it was 80 right know I guarentee their 80 percent done with touchups.

There were several glitches to be seen in the Game Informer vids...Scorpion's teleport kick not not connecting when it should have, Kabal doing a breaker after his life bar had been depleted, a window in the nethership belly breaking for no apparent reason. I wonder if those vids were taken from the 80% build that was at Game Stars...
The game has to be done.. if not a week or so left of production, but I highly doubt it. They've had a buttload of time to make the game.. and I think they had even bigger versions of the game while E3 was around.

I'm sure part of that 20% left is getting the manual, disks, and packaging finished.

The manuals and boxes have almost surely already been finished. All that should be left in that area is duplicating the discs and stuffing them in the package. grin

I dont know, usually the percentage is before, all of the publishing and packaging process comes in. I think its just the de-bugging and glitch correcting process.


Thanks to those who have correcting me on the way I read the article. It can easily be misjudged.

Regardless, I'm sure all of that is factored in to the overall completion of a game.
