Academy Awards will be here in a couple of days, and since I missed January, this is the next most appropriate time to make these lists.
Here is my favorite movies in order from last year. There are a couple of movies I have not seen that I am expecting to make it on this list (Machete, 127 Hours, The Kings Speech, True Grit, The Fighter) so when I finally see them I will update this list.
10. Sorceror's Apprentice
9. Shrek Forever After
8. Red
7. The Expendebles
6. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1
5. The Other Guys
4. Toy Story 3
3. Get Him To The Greek
2. Inception
1. Social Network
And no, Shrek Forever After didn't make the list because I didn't see enough good movies to make my list, I actually liked it and thought it was really funny.
What are your guys?

6.) Sex & The City 2
5.) Megamind
4.) Toy Story 3
3.) Alice In Wonderland
2.) Resident Evil: Afterlife
1.) Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
I thought I had seen more than that hmm.
There's still loads I wanna see like Tangled, Despicable Me, Black Swan & Inception.
It's surprising to me that Scott Pilgrim is my #1 movie of the year, I only found out about it accidentally when I caught an advert for it on tv for the blu ray release and thought it looked awesome. I can't believe I missed it at the cinema!

You need to read the graphic novels, all six of them...actually everyone does.

I don't think I saw 10 movies last year.
Let's see:
I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. Liked that.
Saw Eclipse (my wife made me). Laughed my balls off at how unbelievably bad it was. Didn't like it though.
Saw The Last Airbender. Terrible, terrible movie. It was like the MK: Annihilation of cartoon adaptations.
Saw Piranha. Goriest movie I've ever seen, but still not that entertaining. Lots of titties though. Too bad some of them got eaten.
Saw Tekken. I actually really enjoyed it. The secret to liking the Tekken movie is to think of the character names as coincidences, like Michael Bolton in Office Space. If you try to think of it as a movie adaptation of the game, you will get very angry very quickly. Don't understand why Christie Montiero was so god-damned important, but, once again, that can be enjoyed more by employing the "any resemblance to characters living or dead or in the Tekken video game series is purely coincidental" mindset. I highly recommend it to people who can ignore the names of the movie and characters.
Saw Resident Evil: Afterlife. Two reasons I keep going back to this series. One, it always features hot chicks. And two, I gotta support Paul W.S. Anderson because he made the first MK movie actually not suck. Also, I'm a sucker for zombie movies. Dude who played Albert Wesker was probably a terrible interpretation of the character, but I thought he was smarmy and cheesy and awesome nonetheless. His smirk was so awesome I nearly made it my MKO sig.
It's worth noting that I've never played a Resident Evil game, although I am aware that Milla Jovovich's character Alice isn't in the game series. She's also a bit of a god-mode sue (in fact, she's the first entry under Film on that page). But to me, she's just playing the same character Milla Jovovich always plays. Unstoppable badass chick who fucks up everyone in a way the Bride from Kill Bill finds unrealistic.
So, yeah, I've only seen 6 movies this year. And I wouldn't count more than 1 of them among my favourites (Harry Potter 7a, for those wondering).
I do want to see Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World but I haven't yet.
