As for the game, i'm so sad they decided to bring in another version of Jack, i got fed up with him when it hit Gunjack. Also, i'm sad that Yoshimitsu keeps getting uglier in each and everygame, if it keeps going that way, he's either going to end up as Barney the sword weilding dinosaur, or a steaming pile of excrement jumping around and hitting things with the sword all day.

Yeah i think i agree with everything you said there.
What i've been wondering about, is their ages. They must be what, 60 or something now?
Anyway it looks to be a pretty good game so far.

Yoshimitsu is ageless, Jack(asses) are just robots, and Heihachi... We'll see. So the age issue is settled, IMO.

well, heihachi is dead, from the screenshots as well as the official tekken E3 trailer, it appears every character from 4 (minus the dead heihachi of course) is back plus the three new ones. Pictures of some of the characters as well as a couple of bios can be found at the official site along with some kick ass wall papers and the E3 video to download for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Yeah i think most people have heard about Heihachi's supposed fate...But what about paul for instance? He must be like in his mid 50's now. That's getting on.

And as someone already said, Tekken Zaibatsu forums are packed full of Osaka and EVO footage. From the looks of it, its really turning out to be (dare I say) better than VF4:E.

I so badly want to see a fight between Devil Kazuya and Devil Jin. Both of these men are my favorite characters in the Tekken series and it would be an awsome fight to see.

Paul Pheonix is perhaps the oldest character in the game now that Heihachi is presumed dead. I am guessing Tekken 5 takes place either days or weeks after Tekken 4, so Paul's age has not changed.

Actually that probably is a reasonable assumption. Considering the story involving Heihachi, i'd say The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 would be fairly soon after.

After The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 has ended, the violent battle of father and son, Mishima Kazuya and Kazama Jin continued at the Mishima Zaibatsu's Honmaru.

The result was, Jin was captured by the Tekken Forces, and Heihachi wasted Kazuya at the battle.

"So you (Kazuya) only has such skill after all, coward. And you (Jin), time to die right here."

The deadly battle between Heihachi and Jin has start to continue once again...The angered Jin who had grew a pair of black wings, his power even surpassed Heihachi's, at that time, for once Heihachi realized that his death was imminent.

But not long after that, Jin regained his oldself, then flew left Honmaru, left "Thanks my mother..Kazama Jun" words.

Exhausted Heihachi, was resting, leaned on a big Kanji character for a while. After that only silence, as if the previous battle was a lie.

However the silence was broke when an aircraft noise can be heard from afar.

That noise eventually turn into an explosion noise. When Heihachi thought, he heard noises like something was launched, one by one the Jacks were breaking in, tearing through the ceiling.

Heihachi instantly thought that this is one of Kazuya's plan, however, when Kazuya regained his consciousness due to the earthquake and the boom noises, he also failed to understand what has happened.

"Who (the hell) are you people?!"
As Heihachi screamed, at the same time, the Jacks altogether charging toward them both.

Eventhough, they would never willing to cooperate each other, Heihachi and Kazuya start to fought the Jacks.

However, eventhough how many they had defeated, the enemy numbers seem never decreased, the Jacks reinforcement keep breaking in.

And so, even the great Heihachi started to lose his breath. Then when this happened, Kazuya suddenly betrayed Heihachi by throw him right into the enemies swarm.

"RRAHHH!! YOU BASTARD!! KAZUYA!!"

Kazuya glanced the screaming Heihachi for a while, then take the chance, to charged through the hole between the enemies, and eventually escaped from Honmaru.

Straight afterwards, the Honmaru was vanished along with the explosion.

A man who wear all black, watched the incident calmly.(RAVEN!)
The man then gently touch his ear,then confirming that he was online, then reported one sentence.

"Heihachi Mishima is dead."

Right after that, a Jack came out from nowhere, suddenly attack the man from behind, but with one slash, the man split the Jack into halves with a blade. At the same time, the man's figure was vanished.

Honmaru is vanished without any traces, and the surrounding is covered by ashes.
But no one witnessed, among the ashes, the rubbles were blown up, and a figure appeared.

A few days later, the death of Mishima Zaibatsu head, Mishima Heihachi, reaches the people's ears all over the world.
While this supposed to be the end of the Mishima Zaibatsu, however, a mysterious person took over the toppest position of Mishima Zaibatsu, then bring the Zaibatsu back to its peaceful condition as if nothing was happened.

And then, after one month, the Mishima Zaibatsu sponsored and announced the opening of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. The enigmatic covered King of Iron Fist Tournament now, once again has open its curtain....

Heihachi was supposed to be dead in the end of Tekken 1 too. I'll wait and see, personally.
As for age, i thought Paul and Law (Marshall) were of equal age?

I'm hoping Heihachi succeeded in creating his new life form part him part ogre with a hint of devil.

Then there's Either Devil Kazuya, controlled by Devil, or controlled by Kazuya

Devil Jin, controlled by Jin or the Devil inside him,

or maybe Devil will get that half of him back from Jin and return to his full devil form, lots of possiblities.

I actually want Roger back, a part Kazuya, part Jack and paer original king sounds good to me

Incidentally the Jack's in the opening sequence are Jack 4s, the one playable in the game is the new model Jack 5, created by non-other than Jane.

No surprizes that my fav character is Kazuya, his new moves after one hellsweep look brilliant in the videos.

Jack 4 or Jack 5, they still look assugly to me. But that's just me. Who is this new Asuka Kazama?

one more thing, is it true that in tekken tag you can transform jin into devil jin by doing a combo of some sort?

kinda, its more like when u do the combo jin becomes possessed but like no wings come out or anything...also does anyone wanna guess who the boss is??

Devil Jin can NOT be selected as a character. But Jin can be TEMPORARILY possessed by Devil Jin ONLY when Heihachi is teamed with Jin. It will end after doing one move, walking back, side stepping, blocking an attack, jumping, ducking or tagging out. Walking forward, dashing forward and dashing back is possible while keeping Devil Jin Possession.

Most of the Devil Jin moves have the same commands as regular Jin moves, so you will not be able to do these moves while in Devil Jin Possession. You will notice that Jin takes on Heihachi's stance while in Devil Jin Possession and lightning will travel around his body constantly.
