I'm referring to another thread I've replied to (it's been closed down because it really wasn't on topic on the other forum).

What I want to say is that I didn't mean to offend any americans that may have read it, even though I realize some may have felt offended by it. What I meant to say was that most americans are not given the chance to be properly informed about what happens outside their borders, mainly due to the political system they live in and the brainwash they are subject to by the american media. I was in no way trying to stereotype all americans as being ignorant, which they are certainly not. I have the most respect for the american people and the ideals under which their country was founded (which are unfortunately not appliable to their rulers nowadays).

Also my reply on that specific post was not to Queve (he asked if it was for him). I noticed he is from South America (can't recognize the flag with its small size but I think it's Bolivia. If it's not then I'm an ignorant...) so it's perfectly natural that he replies in Spanish (since it's his natural language, if he is indeed from Bolivia) which is understandable by any portuguese person or portuguese speaking person. And, by the way, "Brazilian" is not a language as anyone suggested in that post. Brazilian people speak portuguese.

So, once again, sorry if any american people, or any other person, felt offended by my post, it wasn't my intention to offend anyone, but I think you would have the same reaction if people constantly mistaken your language and national identity by some other country's.
