Movie was good and the 3d effects were top notch. The humor was well done. There was like 12 people when I went to see it cause I saw the 11:30 showing in the morning. Me and 1 other person stayed all through credits. Basically everybody left and missed the footage.

Exceeding expectations, Peyton Reed came on board at the last minute and admirably succeeded in bringing the unconventional superhero to the big screen, but what would've happened had Werner Herzog stepped in as Wright's replacement?

Fortunately, this question has been answered thanks to Youtube filmmaker Patrick (H) Willems. In the above video, Willems gloriously imagines how a Herzog-directed "Ant-Man" would turn out. Any Marvel fan who thought "Ant-Man" could've used more existential philosophizing now has a reason to celebrate.

Very funny, and maybe even more compelling than the Marvel formula.

With an opening weekend of $43.5M in China and a 3-day weekend haul of $43.3M in the Middle Kingdom, Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man" rose to take the number one position at the international box office.

According to Deadline, the superhero flick now owns the second biggest Marvel/Disney opening in China, after "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Should be interesting to see how reading the Chinese market affects things.
