Artists Youre Embarrassed to Admit You Like/Artists Out of Place on Your iPod
Ok, now we all have a guilty pleasure artist. Someone whose music doesn't really fit with the rest of the music we listen to and generally wouldn't listen to in public or with friends, however we still thoroughly enjoy the artist and their music.
I have a buddy who, besides a physical attraction, loves the music of Taylor Swift. He generally doesn't listen to it when anyone is around but I've gotten in his car and he's forgotten what he's got in the CD player, much to his embarrassment, though I didn't care.
Personally, I admittedly really like Ellie Goulding. I don't know what it is, but her music is so peppy and makes me happy. I also find her oddly attractive (except in that weird ass video for 'Anything Could Happen'), but I enjoyed her music before I knew what she looked like and despite her dating that detestable Wub-wub maker.
Anywho, who is your guilty pleasure artist? The one you generally wouldn't listen to with friends around.

For embarrassment, I would have to say the one song I have by Will.I.Am and the one song I got by Flo Rida. Both of them I don't generally play around others, but anything else on my ipod, I'm open about.
As for out of place, probably The Wanted, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Will.I.Am, P!nk, and various others. The majority is ska, techno, or rock, and so whatever pop music I got on there seems out of place, although the list is growing. Soon, it won't be out of place!

Eh, it's not really a single artist, more like a full genre. But, I do like a lot of country like Gary Allen, The Zac Brown Band, and-yes- a couple Taylor Swift songs.

Not to debunk this whole thread, but I'm of the belief that you shouldn't be embarrassed of any music on your iPod/computer. If you like it, then play it. Fuck everyone who judges.

I actually like some Lady Gaga. She is actually quite talented, and I respect her life style.

Thank you.
Anyhoo, people may call this weird, but I have a hell of a lot of video game soundtracks on my phone. I have several Pokémon soundtracks, primarily Diamond/Pearl; I also have quite a few Soulcalibur Soundtracks.
You know what? I'll just do a list. It's easier that way:
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Dead Or Alive (kinda, it's really on a CD).
Killer Instinct
Mortal Kombat II
Mortal Kombat 3
Mortal Kombat 4
Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat Deception
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire
Pokémon Diamond/Pearl
Pokémon Platinum
Pokémon Black/White
Pokémon Black 2/ White 2
Soul Blade - Original and Arranged
Soul Edge - Super Khan Session
Soulcalibur II
Soulcalibur III
Soulcalibur IV
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Tekken 6
I also have the theme music to the video game Cool World, which I totally love, and the Katana theme from Final Fight.
Oh, also, I kinda have a habit of collecting character select themes from fighting games. Those themes tend to cling to me more than most other video game music.

I agree- I have a lot of classical on my iPod: Mozart, Beethoven, and a lot of the impressionist composers like Vaughn-Williams and Holst. In high school I was self-conscious about liking classical music in the era of Brittany Spears, but now I don't care. Life's short. I listen to music that makes me happy.

Pretty much how I feel. If I like how it sounds good to me and I can jam to it, then I don't really care what it is.

I've recently taken a liking to Samuel Barber.
I really like his Meditation and Vengeance of Madea set. And of course, there's Adagio for Strings.

Justin Bieber!!! (hahaha lol) <
I still listen to Spice Girls sometimes, but nothing in my collection is really a "guilty" pleasure. I just like it all. rock/pop/metal/dance etc...
