Yeah, that makes sense. If it isn't the parents fault(depends on if they taught their child right and wrong and make sure it got through), whose is it?

It could possibly BE the kids fault, because he has a mind of his own. He could choose to ignore the rules and just kill the victim, whether or not his parents taught him right/wrong.
