I hate to be "that one guy" who always has something negative to say, because I really do like the trailer and am excited for the movie, but does anyone else think Spader's voice sounds too "human"?

I'm kind of resigned to the general notion that these movie versions aren't made for me. The old logic doesn't apply. It's a bit off to me, but most of the characters and stories seem a bit off, so I don't really single it out. I expect it to be a little post-Bane, but generally fit this character that's called "Ultron". (Is that response even more That Guy?)

Also: Could Andy Serkis be Klaw? Black Panther does feel like it's getting close...

I hope so! That could be a lot of fun! If it is Klaw, having a chap as versed (and willing to indulge) in CG performances as Serkis will no doubt come in handy.

- Avengers Try to Lift Thor's Hammer in First "Age of Ultron" Clip [YouTube]

With Hydra scuttling its plan to debut the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" teaser trailer during last night's episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Marvel instead released a "Special Look" at footage screened in July at Comic-Con International. It's the much-discussed lighthearted scene in which Earth's Mightiest Heroes taking turns attempting to lift Thor's hammer from a coffee table, only to discover that none of them is "worthy."

I'm very excited. Ultron looks tough. I hope he destroys all the Avengers, because I'm always a fan of the villains. lol

I was expecting to see Thanos for Avengers 2, but hopefully he will come later on down the line with his endless space monster powers and what not

- Avengers: Age Of Ultron teaser featurette lands online: watch now

A new teaser featurette has appeared online from Avengers: Age Of Ultron, giving us a glimpse of a few new snippets of footage from the forthcoming mega-sequel.

The new clip is a sneak-peak of the full featurette to be included on the home entertainment release of Guardians Of The Galaxy, and gives a good impression of the epic scale on which Joss Whedon will be conducting his action scenes.

There is also some additional footage of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch putting their powers into practice, as well as Black Widow going to town on some unsuspecting goons.

Just in time for the holidays, shucks!

The Hulkbuster Armor has always straddled that fine line between total, shameless absurdity and beautiful, off-the-wall fun. Seems like the kind of thing you'd get somewhere in the third or fourth series of toys. Used sparingly, it's a fun idea, though. The movie design has really done it well! Fans and zoogoing Joe Public will love seeing Hulk get busted! Tough to argue. If the once rumored Hulk vs Iron Man movie can't happen, this is the next best thing.

- REPORT: ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ New Clip, The Other ‘Inside Out’ Trailer and ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Concept Art (Spoilers) [via Comic Book Resources]

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
The scene opens with an armored police vehicle arriving on the scene. An incredibly angry and destructive Hulk is witnessed tearing up the streets, destroying cars and spreading all-out panic. Police, heavily armed with machine guns, openly fire on the Hulk to no avail. In the distance comes Iron Man, flying at super speed to the scene. "Hold your fire," he commands to the responding teams below. He is flanked by large metal objects that speed along through the air with him, keeping up every step of the way. We cut back to the menacing Hulk and all of a sudden, a large steel (?) surfboard-shaped object slams itself down in the pavement in front of him. Then another. And another. Before you know it, Hulk is trapped inside a giant, solid metallic "box." At least, that is, until Hulk smashes free and then continues his rampage. And then, it assembles -- piece by piece -- the Hulkbuster, almost in Mark 42 fashion. "The witch is messing with your brain," Stark tells Hulk. "You’re smarter than her, you’re Bruce Banner." This yields an even angrier response from Hulk and it’s on. Hulkbuster vs. Hulk. The Hulkbuster usually seems to have the upper-hand, as they drag each other through the streets, tearing up the pavement. At least until Hulk ends up on the Hulkbuster’s back, impaling the shoulder with a traffic light pole. "Dick move, Banner" responds Stark as they continue to fight. Then the damaged pieces of the Hulkbuster fall off and are quickly replaced with new parts. Different parts. And now Hulkbuster is atop Hulk, Stark treating Hulk’s head as a punching bag, literally pounding Hulk’s head into the pavement over and over and over (much to the amusement of the audience). "Sleep, go to sleep" chants Stark, but spoiler alert: it doesn’t work. Then, one of the replaced parts of the Hulkbuster, the arm missing a hand, wraps itself around Hulk’s arm and sucks him in and Iron Man takes flight, toting Hulk by the arm.

You will take what Marvel gives you, be thankful for it, and then they will relieve you of your $12-24 dollars, depending on your theater location and desired viewing experience, that they know is already theirs.

I enjoyed it a lot. Ultron's plan is a bit convoluted, but it's not too bad. They actually made a pretty strong tie to infinity war that doesn't seem too forced, they gave Hawkeye a dumptruck of development, visually it's stunning, and I think they utilized the Maximoffs perfectly.

The movie has a big emotional moment, some romance, and some big stuff from the comics that readers will go "Hey! Thats...well pretty much that in the comics."

Overall 8/10

I really liked it but you can't help but realize there is a ton of stuff missing. From what I've read there's nearly an extra hour that was cut out of the film and to me that changes the entire complexity. There's a lot of scenes in the trailer that weren't in the film. Overall very enjoyable, I liked the first one better. Civil War is going to be Avengers 2.5.

Btw no extra scene after the credits, only a mid credit scene.

I'm curious to see if those scenes will return in a directors cut. I'm sure one of them has to do with Thor and Selvig. That wasn't really explained at all.

Saw the movie yesterday in Real D 3D. Movie was great but not as good as the 1st film. Also I felt I was the only 1 who was not impressed with the Vision, then again was never really Vision fan ether. for me Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver stole the film. Also loved the scene during the credits. I use him as 1 of my mains in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 so I'm expecting big things from him in the future. I'm hoping they go with Annihilation storyline for the Infinity War cause that's my favorite version of the outcome.
