Yeah... Well, more like a teaser.
Hey guys... ITS EXCLUSIVE TO THE FUCKING WII-U. The first game didn't even come out on the Wii.
God... This makes me pissed!

Despite that I'm not a fan of Bayonetta, I will say, the Wii U is a stupid addition to the consoles. It just seems like a useless thing to get.
Especially if it's true that there will be no next generation systems, just massive updating the systems and such... At least this is what I've been hearing as of lately.

I never planned on getting the wii-u in the first place. I don't like how the controllers is a huge square plate with a touchscreen on it, damn thing might as well be a fucking I-pad and the 2nd controller if you don't like the touchscreen one is a damn replica of the xbox 360 controller.
GOD DAMN IT NINTENDO.
You're only good for Pokemon, Super Smash Games, and little Nintedo DS's that made multiple versions yet have only SMALL differences between them which is completely fucking pointless, then you sell them at like 200 dollars or some shit. Yet, they still make money. And now, I'm sure the next Super Smash game is gonna have Bayonetta in it.
This is what I'm feeling like inside right now.

I haven't liked Nintendo since the Gamecube. I hate the Wii and Wii-U because it's too gimmicky. It's a shame to have such a great game exclusive to a system it was never on.
What a waste.

I'm gonna fuckin blow up the idiot who decided to make this move. The god damn thing costs like 300 dollars with a small ass hard drive, 8 gb or 34 gb, and then your gonna ask for 60 more bucks for a game you don't even deserve?
Screw. You.
Screw. You.

Bayonetta was a fuckin' amazing game! It has nothing to do with the fan-service for me, though, as I don't find her attractive at all.
Anyway, the combat in that game was phenomenal and I really dug the campy atmosphere.
Does kinda suck that it's gonna be a Wii U exclusive, but I'll eventually end up getting one, so it's not too big a deal for me. I'm just glad Bayonetta isn't ending up as a one-off.

So much blind hate in this thread.
... That isn't true at all. Sony and Microsoft haven't announced anything yet. Their next consoles are years off. Wii U is reportedly more powerful than both current gen consoles, and far more powerful than the Wii. What exactly makes it stupid and useless? The fact that it isn't completely groundbreaking graphically? HD is finally here for Nintendo, and that's kind of a really good thing. The new controller could be amazing depending on where developers take it. Lots of possibilities there.
It's not that big. And if you don't like it I doubt you'd be forced to use it for most games. But what the hell. How can you criticize them for making a standard controller because it has similarities to the Xbox 360 controller - which is far from original itself? Sony and Microsoft owe a lot to Nintendo's original gamepad design. If it isn't broke, why the fuck would they try to fix it? The d-pad alone is going to make that thing a hundred times better than the 360 pad.
Have you even thought about how the tablet controller could add to games, or did you just dismiss it as soon as it was announced? Inventory and menu management alone, if implemented properly, will give an edge to the Wii U ports of multi-platform titles. Asymmetric gameplay could bring a lot to the variety of party games that Nintendo is known for. Having the 3 different control schemes (Tablet, Wiimote, Pro controller) can only lead to more variety. Call it gimmicky if you must, but there can be no innovation without trying new things.
Yeah, because Nintendo is the only company that releases incrementally upgraded hardware. :|
Pokemon and Super Smash Bros, yes, also Mario and his bajillion spinoffs, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Wario. Nintendo first party franchises are consistently great for the most part. Your fanboi is showing.
Remember Xbox 360 launch? With a 20GB HDD, for $400 dollars? What was the pack-in game again? The Elite didn't launch til much later, for $450. It uses an SSD and it supports external harddrives. I don't see the problem.
I haven't seen you make a post without you hating everything. The console isn't even out yet holy shit. Nintendo grabbing Bayonetta 2 was a very smart move, they needed something to attract core gamers and this is it. Also, didn't Sega cancel Bayonetta 2 a while ago? Nintendo saved your god damn game.
All of that said, I'm no Nintendo fanboy. I don't even have a Wii. But there's a lot of hurr wii u sucks and the fricking thing isn't even out for another 2 months.

Rumors are rumors, I don't believe them unless I have strong evidence in my face telling me the truth. Hence why I wrote, "if it's true," in my post. So, no, I don't believe what I wrote is true, but when I'm hearing that from a lot of people, I start taking concern and read up on things to see if it's floating around as the truth or if it's a pity little rumor.
About your Wii U issue, I haven't found anything appealing to the system that makes me want to go out and buy it when it's released in two months. The same thing was said about the Wii when it first came out, being a powerful system. Look at it now, I hardly touch that thing anymore. I haven't been wowed by what I saw from the WII U, and quite frankly, I don't get why you're bothered by me not liking it, as well as the other users here who have an issue with it. We're entitled to develop opinions about something that could either stay the same or change depending on if we ever get our hands on it.
I don't see why it's necessary to barge in and start shunning people down for having an opinion that's against something that strikes an interest to you. Just because something isn't out yet doesn't mean I can't hold an opinion to it.
Hurr hurr HURRR

The point is, the game may not sell well because people like those above (the kind of gamers who would be interested in the first place) won't buy the Wii U after being put off by the Wii. Nintendo's strategy of tying one console in to the other will backfire on that front, and the kiddies who loved the Wii won't be allowed to pick it up because their soccer moms won't allow it. It's just a bad business move in terms of demographic.

Calling it Wii U seems like a mistake. I know a lot of people were confused at the announcement, with many people still thinking it's just some sort of controller add-on for the Wii. Plus the whole bad stigma thing.
It'll be interesting to see how far Nintendo goes to gain back the core audience they lost this past generation. Games like Bayonetta are a start.

I'm not a gimmick gamer, so naturally the Wii and Wii-U were unappealing to me. I did try the Wii, found it to be an unsatisfactory experience.
Here's my problem with Bayonetta 2 being exclusive to the Wii-U: I would have to buy a Wii-U just to play the game. I can't even imagine how the game will control on there either.

And see, that's the part that doesn't make sense in this. Why in the world would a game, that did remarkable on the PS3 and Xbox, suddenly just go and change systems like that? Especially going to a system that doesn't have games like that on it?
It's like with the Kingdom Hearts story. Boy, I never hear the end of this one. You have the main story being placed on a main system, which is Playstation, but in order to play all of their side stories, you have to get the handheld systems. I mean ,why would anyone spend $200 for a handheld system for a game that isn't technically apart of the main story? Is it really necessary to do stuff like that?
To me, no I don't see it being necessary, and I can't tell you how many people it pisses off.

I've read and gotten the impression that next gen consoles will more upgradeable, similar to how PCs are. It just keeps the whole branding thing and compatibility issues down.
As for the Wii-U it looks pretty next gen to me (4x the amount of RAM than current consoles and a considerably bigger disk drive over the Xbox 360). That said I too find the tablet control as gimicky as the Wii remote was and right now there isn't much at launch to get me to buy one. Although the deluxe edition looks like a good deal over the standard version and is kind of tempting.

So Sega dropped the ball and Nintendo took it.
I'm mad because I may never ever play this damn game. I want a Wii U, believe it or not, but I can't afford it. That is why this game's Wii U exclusivity hurts me.
I would have loved to be able to buy it and sit it under the first on my shelf as I do all my game series'. Now I can't and it's all Sega's fucking fault.
I know who to blame, but it doesn't change anything or make me feel any better. I just want to continue the journey of a game that was incredible and worlds above other titles in it's genre.

If I recall correctly, it didn't sell that well despite critical acclaim. It's Nintendo exclusive likely because Nintendo scooped it up after Sega cancelled it. And the fact that the Wii lacked a lot of games like Bayonetta doesn't mean that they shouldn't start with Wii U. ZombiU is a launch title, as is Mass Effect 3, and games such as Arkham City and Black Ops II are in the launch window.

If selling hardware is their goal, yes. Also, this has happened before with higher profile titles. Final Fantasy anyone? People got over that eventually.

I just want to continue to journey of a game that was incredible and worlds above other titles in it's genre.
