Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter X Tekken are on my top list at the moment.

You didn't even tell us which games.

Tekken 6? SFxT? SSF4? SSF4:AE? Where is SCV? KOF?

Mortal kombat is without a doubt my favorite, and I play competitively. I play SFxT and SSF4:AE casually.

Mortal Kombat hands down.

Mortal Kombat is the only fighting game I'm really familiar with. I'll watch my friends playing Soul Calibur IV because it looks nice, but I'm terrible when I try to play it. Some fighters are just too flashy for me.

New MK has my vote for gameplay.

5. Marvel vs. Capcom

Those are my top 5. I've played SC5 and Virtua Fighter 5, both felt awkward and dull.

Mine would be outta Tekken or MK, but ssbb and Soul Calibur are pretty good, i never really been a SF fan.

1. darkstalkers chronicle chaos tower for psp.
2. guilty gear xx accent core plus for ps2.
3. soul calibur 2 for nintendo gamecube.
4. dead or alive ultimate 2 for x-box.
5. mortal kombat 4 for nintendo 64.

unknown fighting gem because it never got released outside of Japan. best game physics and most brutal specials i have ever seen in any fighting game.
it had X-rays before MK had them, just check it out if you love fighting games.

also super smash bros is one of my favorites next to power stone 1.
