I wonder what kind of crazy ideas they have in store for the new characters...

Since I'm not a furry, I don't care.

What I'm wondering is will they Transition to 2D as MK did or stick to a 3D Plane.

I'd recommend checking out Bloody Roar 2 on Playstation or Bloody Roar: Primal Fury on Gamecube. The series has never been the best fighting game franchise out there, but it was actually, on occasion, very well made, had great characters and story modes, and was a lot of fun.

Things sort of got out of control later on when the simple concept of "fighters with animal genes" went out the window and we got instead things like "Xion the Unborn", "Nagi the Spurious", "Uranus the Chimera", and "Ryoho the Dragon" which are, as far as we know, either entirely fictitious animals or non-animals entirely.

But I have fond memories of BR2 and PF, which were the two best, IMO, especially with actually decent characters like Yugo the Wolf, Shina the Leopard, Bakyru the Mole, Long the Tiger, and Sting the Insect, in particular (though props to Jenny the Bat, Gado the Lion, and Busuzima the Chameleon too.)

I look forward to their return, hopefully with less non-animals, or at least ridiculous ones (Chronos is a penguin... right. Not a shark? Or a bear? Or an alligator? Or something scary? A penguin? Oookay....)



Eh, perhaps, but I'm hardly a furry, and I think playing games with warrior werewolves (see also: Darkstalkers) and powerful insectoid monsters (see also: The Guyver) is ever a bad thing.

If I had a means of getting one, I would check it out. Several people said 2 was the best.

Well, I read Chronos could turn into a Phoenix also, so that's kinda cool.

From looking at the wikis, ignoring story parts, there are some really amazing looking fighters. I don't know them by name, but the Mole person looks cool as well as a few others...

-Jenny the Bat
-Shenlong the Tiger
-Long the Tiger
-Xion the Unborn
-Bakuryu the Mole
-Uranus the Chimera

But I should see how they play first..

I dunno if you have Gamecube or Wii but I got a copy of it off Amazon for like 12 bucks, Bloody Roar Primal Fury.
