I highly doubt this is going to be any sort announcement for a REmake 2. It's probably for RE: ORC. While, I do wish they remake RE 2, I will not allow my hopes to get up in any way; besides, Revelations is coming out in a few months, and it looks awesome. So I'm content...for now.

Plus, I'm wouldn't join facebook for a potentially worthless reveal.

Sometimes I see this sort of stuff happen on the pre-release of a game and I think to myself "are we too optimistic? Or do fans simply expect too much?". I felt the exact same way about the failed MK countdown too. It makes me wonder do we put our hand out to be slapped with this sort of stuff.

Call it common sense but I think if you've 1.5 million fans you have to offer something much better than an artwork piece of a Cerberus. Bad move Capcom.

I don't know how any of you are surprised to be honest.

Bear in mind this is still the same company that pulls shit like Street Fighter 4, followed by Super Street Fighter 4, and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition (all within a few years of each other, bear in mind, and none of which are a brand new Street Fighter, just fundamentally the same game with new characters and modes) as well as Marvel vs Capcom 3 (which had Jill and Shuma on the disk, until you paid or hacked for it) followed by Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (which will most likely be followed by Fantastic Marvel vs Capcom 3: Galactus Edition or some other shit excuse to milk blood from a stone).

I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom only buckled down to it's knees and remade Resident Evil 2 & 3 when the franchise was dying off as a last ditch effort to gain their increasingly deteriorating fanbase back. We wont see those two games being remade until Capcom is really on it's last limbs IMO.

I have the Japanese 15th Anniv. box set. Totally worth it. Its never getting opened. I hope for a NA version as well.

Even the RE: Umbrella CHronicles/Darkside Chronicles on PS3. I hope to death we see this in English.

I'd love it if they released a book with all of the diary entries and notes in chronological order from the resident evil series, and researchers notes that record details and information on the various B.O.W's. They could base it around the Resi 0-3 era.

Files like the keepers diary in Resi1, and Jill's diary in Resi 3 would be cool for everyone to have access to in one big chronological book, organised from the earliest relevant diary entry to the last diary entry recorded on the Raccoon City Incidents. Maybe even with some new ones from characters like Ada, Hunk, Claire, Barry and Rebecca that give us an insight into their own perspective of the situations that happened or even fill in the blanks between the events. I'd sure as hell love to know what Barry and Rebecca have been up to, and if they elaborate further from Chris's Resi 2 diary I'd love to know where Barry and Rebecca ended up once they all went to Europe to confront Umbrella.

Because I have become impatient, I'm going to watch playthroughs of Resident Evil 1, 2,3 and 0 over Thanksgiving break because I want to see what I've missed.


I'm going to get Code Veronica finally in December, I love how I'm playing the games in from newest to oldest

One piece of advice.

watch them in this order:

RE: Remake
RE2
RE3
RE Zero

RE3 and RE0 aren't so important. But with certain revelations etc in teh canon story. Its better to get through RE2 before going back to RE Zero. Then perhaps RE3 after to bring it all to a head. Sounds good.

Also. Give it some time between Each. A good 2 days at least. Let it settle into your head. That way the few month jump between RE1 and RE2 doesn't seem rushed.

Then play code: veronica. And you will have completely every game worth watching. From then on is where it really goes down hill.

I hope u not stuntin' on RE3.
