Founder of american top 40 franchise, disc jockey & voice actor of Shaggy from scooby doo has passed away today at a California hospital. He was 82 years of age. He will be missed.

I hope some sort of investigation is done. I know he was elderly and ill, but all of the news events of the past month or so makes it seem like he was being neglected or abused by his wife.

Really sad news. One of those next level pop culture icons. Biggest shame is undoubtedly the way it ended. Hope nothing untoward went down. Sad loss.
