You go to a convention and see hundreds of people dressed as super heroes, villains, and of course, your favorite Mk character. It's an awesome hobby. Have you done cosplay?? What's your opinion about it?? Are you a cosplayer?? Share your thoughts! I personally respect people who do it. It takes a lot of time and money to make or find a good costume.

If you love cosplay you'll love this thread.
I don't think I'll ever cosplay, but I enjoy seeing other people cosplay.
The only thing that gets me is when people cosplay as someone they obviously don't fit the bill for. I often seek out cosplays that very well identifies the character.
I've yet to see a Wolverine that wasn't tall, though.

I'd actually really like to get into it, but I don't know much about making costumes. Some of them look amazing.
I've seen some cosplayers on the transit line a few years ago during PAX East weekend. I think they where Final Fantasy or anime characters. They definitely got a lot of looks.

I've kinda wanted to cosplay a few favorite characters of mine, such as Mad Moxxi, Corvo, Frost, and Lady Sylvanas. If I had an option to minor in this (but for some reason I just never saw anything) I'd minor in being a make-up artist. Faceoff really shows a hell of a lot of talent and I would totally LOVE to do some of that stuff.
But, one day, when I make enough money and such, I shall go to a convention as some character I enjoy playing as.

I've dabbled in cosplaying now and then. I'm still a novice, though, but I've done Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen and Cyclops from X-Men (classic and 90s style). It is really fun, and I intend on continuing to do so for events and things here.

I've dabbled in it a little bit, nothing too elaborate. I've got a Ghostbusters flightsuit and some equipment, but the proton pack was kinda messy and I didn't build it myself.
Planning to hit NY Comicon with some friends next Fall and I'd really like to put together a Kabal costume for it. The tricky part so far has been you usually can't get into cons with real weapons, but I don't think anyone makes hookswords out of a fake material, so I don't know what I'm gonna do there.

Ok, I'll see that. And raise you.

I could never say no to Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Even if it is being mutilated by a sadistic billionaire clown.
