Darkstalkers Vs. Eternal Champions

Though ever seeing these two games collide seem very unlikely (being that both were developed from different origins US/Japan) it still would be nice to image the fighters from both series collide in a tournament. Even so, both games shared some interesting elements. Here's a list of some fights that I find intriguing:

Morrigan Vs. Raven

Felicia Vs. Jetta

Bishamon Vs. Shadow

Demitri Vs. Midnight

Jon Tailbain Vs. Chin Wu

Lord Raptor Vs. Larcen

Anakaris Vs. RamsesIII

By the way if several of the Eternal Champions characters don't ring a bell to you, several of them are from the sequel (some of whom were hidden).

A game like this would OWN! I would LOVE this. However I think that Darkstalkers Vs. Eternal Champions would end with the Eternal Champions standing over their respective opponents then lookong at each other and shrugging, wondering why it was so easy? LOL EC characters are Awesome and would kick the crap out of the DS....especially: Xavier, Jetta, Shadow, Midnight, Trident and Larcen...the best fighters from that game.

I couldn't agree with you more.wink Personally, I think that if Shadow and Bishamon were to square off, that Shadow would serve him. Same with Xavier serving Jedah, Jetta serving Felicia, but Midnight and Demitri...hmmm..confused

I'm sorry to say this but I really don't agree. The Darkstalkers are pretty freaking overpowered even in the Capcom universe whereas the EC characters are... Well, pretty run of the mill. I sincerely doubt that ANY of the EC characters could even have a chance against any of the Darkstalkers characters... But meh.

Lol. I love Darkstalkers, and with all this talkof EC from TomTaz, I would love to see this game happen. As for EC beating the Darkstalkers.....Hmmm, I dunno.

I beg to differ. You must have never player EC:CFTDS. The aspect as to why the game was accepted so well was due to each and every character having their own very distinctive fighting styles (characters were very orginal) having several devasting moves along with devastating finishers. Whereas, Darkstalkers characters play more sorely like Street Fighter characters and movements are very predictable (not to diss that series, I still adore and play DS constantly).


When you have a character who was created before the coming of man (Eternal Champion) and has the power to send and retrieve warriors before their deaths, and uses the elemtents/essenses of animals to defend, it's pretty hard to consider that "run-of-the-mill." wink

Still, I can understand where you're coming from if you never really had a chance to grasp EC's concept.glasses

I do actually know the concept of Eternal Champions, and I still have it for my Sega CD.

The Darkstalkers are pound for pound one of the most overpowered group of fighters created for a fighting game. The normal characters in EC ARE run of the mill, they're trapeeze artists, they're lawmen, they're hitman. The Darkstalker characters are freaking monsters, literally. Edit: Think about it this way, who would win in a fight? A wild west cowboy lawman or a freaking vampire that has lived for hundreds of years that can transform you into a freaking woman and drain the life from you? Exactly. But no, let's be conservative, how about Jetta versus B. B. Hood? Jetta is an atheltic circus performer whereas B. B. Hood is a demon hunter that carries enough heavy weapons in her basket that would make the 101st Airborne Division blush? Yeah.

I get what your saying Truth...and for the most part, I as I've had time to consider some things, I agree...but only for certain people versus certain people...like Larcen Vs. Dimitri...Well duh no contest there Dimitri wins, rather easily I might add...but let's look at Jetta vs. Felicia...Powerful though Felicia may be...she could only use that power if she could get her hands on Jetta, and with her superspeed ability...Jetta could kick the crap out of Felicia 5x over before Felicia even knew what the hell was happening...so It all comes down to who versus who.

I don't know, Jetta and Felicia have some similar moves. Like that one where they can both roll into a ball and charge their opponents. They both seem very quick to me, however, it's that concentrate move that Jetta uses to power up that might give her an edge.
TomTaz I have a question for you. Did you know that if you use Xavier's change orb and switch places with your opponet, you can actually change your self for the whole match. I did this only once but I got lucky enough to get RAX and just beat it in on my friend.
