Hardcore must be like trying to dodge rain in a thunderstorm. There's probably gonna be about 10 necromorphs in every room, each taking 20 shots/stomps to kill. But they probably never die to begin with. They probably just play possum for a minute, then come at you again.

"OH MAH GAWD, THIS STUMP OF MEAT IS TRYING TO EAT ME!"

Not to mention there are no checkpoints and only 3 saves.

Good fun so far. I've been getting the shit scared out of me on multiple occasions.

Dam chapter 14 is tough!

Just finished the game...what a awesome,intense,creepy game! The ending is a trip!!!

Well I am on Round 2 of Dead Space 2. Well the Seeker Rifle is a beautiful gun to have because it does pack a deadly punch.

Returning to the Ishimura was very tense! I kept waiting for something to pop out at every corner.

I do find that ship to be creepier in this game than the last game.

I know. I have 5 ammo for the force gun though.

I find stabbing her and electrocuting her to work faster.

I'm VERY low on ammo at this point in the game. I actually think I can't win.

Just bought the game today, never known a game like it, from the off the game had me frightened. I progressed to chapter 2 and am now afraid to turn pn my Xbox.

Somewhat related, I've heard amazing things about the Dead Space 2 tie-in game, Dead Space iOS. It looks great, but I don't have an iPod/Pad/Touch, so I'm hoping it gets ported to XBLA/PSN at some point.

I've beaten it twice since it came out. Normal and Zealot. I attempted Hard Core twice today. 1st time I made it mid way chapter 2. 2nd time I got cornered in chapter 1.

Hard Core is gonna be a bitch. I'll get it done though. Prolly gonna spread my 3 saves like this

Chapter 10
Chapter 12 or 13.

Well I was getting into Hardcore and didn't follow my save path. Near the end of chapter 3 my conscience was telling me to save the game. So I did what my conscience said.

Gotta make up for the early save later on. EDIT: I started all the way over and decided to place my 1st save at the beginning of chapter 6. I'm pretty confident so far.

Back at the last chapter. But I didn't save before the final battle. WHY!!!!?
