Yep ladies & gents, motherfucking Dead Pool gets his own game and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. It was revealed a couple days ago @ Comic Con IIRC.

Looks great. Really looking forward to hearing more about it. It sounds like Nolan North is doing his voice again, which is a big plus.

Graphics, am I right? I mean who cares about whether or not they are representing the character faithfully?

This looks like a game I want! Now to add to my list....
Metal Gear Solid 4, The Amazing Spider-Man, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Deadpool: The Game.

I have never been much of a fan of Deadpool. He's cool and all, and I find it funny that he breaks the 4th wall due to knowing he is a comic-book character, but I find it too gimmicky. Just not my cup of tea.
Ryan Reynolds playing as him in Wolverine was kinda cool though, I like Reynolds. The game trailer looks nice too, so I'll follow the production of this game to see if it is something I might like.

lol, calm down. I'm perfectly capable of caring about both, just thought the graphics were a bit lacking. Didn't say it was my number one concern, just not really digging how this game looks on a purely visual level, more of a pet peeve if anything. Fish for an argument elsewhere, sarcastic internet man.

Arguing with somebody who missed the point of a teaser trailer would be pointless and not all that entertaining.

Really looking forward to this. Deadpool and I share a very similar style as when I get a cut, slam my finger in a door or some off beat injury I always laugh it off. Odd I know. Anyway, Deaddy is my fav Anti-Hero character in Marvel. Easily at the top of my list next to Iron Man. I have followed this character for years, and watched his development through out the most of my childhood to later teens.
He's come a long way. Compared to similar parties like Deathstroke and Snake Eyes. It's nice to see that he finally got his own game. He should of had his movie. I'm still un-certain how it's possible to make a Wolverine movie again but pass up Wade. I honestly hope this is a door to a movie that will soon follow after the success of the game. Then directors will know what they missed out on and try to break even more sales records by finally making the movie.

This looks like one of those times where we're on two different planes, JR.
I know how hindering his breaking can be, but I've always found it to be an extraordinary attribute that if done right, can play well in story and in gameplay.
I've also never really found Ryan Reynolds to be that good of an actor, and imho he did not do Deadpool any justice.
Getting back to the Wade, I must say my favorite thing about him is the mystery surrounding his sexual orientation, which he himself makes a mystery.
This game will suck.
John Kassir was a much better VA for Deadpool, and even fit the comics description of his voice better ("a gravelly Demi Moore"). I think the worst part is that they're going with Daniel Way's characterization, meaning the sentient thought bubbles.
Deadpool was always an insecure wannabe hero who was trying not to be such a terrible person, sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing. With the latest volume, he became nothing more than "random hero who breaks the fourth wall." None of what Joe Kelly did to make the character so great is there anymore, and something tells me that because this is the Deadpool most people will come to know, it'll be the one we're stuck with.

I've never noticed a loss of insecurity; however I did notice a growth in severity of his schizophrenia, which may be a major contributing factor to his newfound personality.
Deadpool has always been a suffering soul, and I think he jokes and kids around often to ease the pain. I'm never too fond of adding seriousness to Deadpool's stories, but I feel the writers should maintain the realism of what someone with psychosis goes through.
I must admit, this kinda hits close to home.

Well then you should probably open one of his books as written by Daniel Way. There is no characterization other than "goofy ninja guy who talks to his thought bubbles". The bubble gimmick is cheap, and isn't a good way to express his mental failings AT ALL. And those insecurities and joking around just to make himself seem alright has been replaced by "here's Deadpool in a funny suit, and he has guns!"

Bollucks to Daniel Way!
I must admit I was not aware of this guy's writing. Now that I am, AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!
Hopefully this game won't bear the same faults.
