Well, as a sign of disrespect everyone is posting funny images. I find this rather amusing.
I guess no one really cared after all.

Good bye threads don't usually get taken seriously. It was probably better to just not have said anything at all. But if you're truly leaving, I guess it's a good bye.

Your original post mentioned something about having done everything in the known universe. Which is a slightly ironic way to make an entrance into the General Forum. If you've got other interests, you should bring 'em on board. Or check out some of the other topics in the Gen forum.
You could swing by the Fan Submission forum and show support for the fan-artists who've contributed to MKO over the years. We recommend a few, from time to time.
If voting games and things of the sort are your bag, why not start your own in the Fan Koliseum? The MKII Voting Game is looking for new members (to all others unaware), but it's an involved process. Maybe you'd like to try something a bit simpler and self-sustaining to help ease people in. You could also throw your name in the ring for the chat room/forum stat league game.
MK Legacy is gearing up for a third series, and MKX is bringing new MK merch with it. You might want to dip into the Media & Merchandise forum to get ahead of that curve, and play in the idea box. We just added a Federation of Martial Arts sub-page, which I'm guessing is something you weren't around for. Could be good for a laugh, too.
Injustice wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but other DC items are big business. If you're psyched for the Batman vs Superman movie, or The Rock as Black Adam, you could check that out.
If MKX isn't giving you what you need, maybe you help fund the nostalgia scene. MK's gettin' old and retro is in. 2D Klassics has a little bit of combustion these days, what with the undying affection for the original games.
If you feel like you're being ignored, the best way to deal with that is to get involved. Be interested and have interests. Don't let the stupid or self-absorbed get you down. Ignore them, surpass them. The community wants it. Make your own fun, join in with others'.
