now i'm getting 3005 disconnect error mesage. i get to the main menu screen and my mouse does not move. i enter my account stuff and i get the same message. by the way i do know the game is not out yet but comes out 5/15/12. you can create a battle net account then just download a beta of diablo 3.

it pisses me off because i want to kill some of the undead with the witchdoctor. soposidly you can reach up to level 13 in this bata. which i still have not played yet. maybe in a few hours i can get the damn thing working.

I wasn't so sure about how I'd like the game, based on the change in direction of design from D2, but the beta really impressed me. My biggest issue is that it's too easy, but hopefully the difficulty levels in the full game will offer a good challenge.

The Witch Doctor is awesome. I've yet to play the other classes beyond a few minutes of a Barbarian, I've got to get on that.

Also, it's far more visually impressive than I thought it would be. Blizzard sure knows how to make the most out of "bad" graphics.

What do you guys think about it?
I have only heard bad things about it which disappoints me as I was looking forward to it. I've had my eyes on the Demon Hunter class, so I'd like to know what your opinions are about the game and that class.

It doesn't look like Diablo to me. Too colorful from the looks of it, but I still wanna give it a try.

Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter have caught my eye. I roled a Necro in D2, and WD looks like it's his replacement.

That's what I thought, but seeing it in action and playing it, it feels like a Diablo game. It's a really good aesthetic, Act 1 at least.

just beat the bata and i have to say it was awsome. my female witch doctor named ibuki is level 11. i'm not sure what the level cap is but it didn't matter.

hadn't had this much fun with a game in years and i have to say as a big fan of diablo,hellfire,2,lod, this game was some fresh air to the series. my dad beat the original diabo,hellfire,2,lod but iv'e beaten 2,lod,diablo 3 bata which my dad has still not beaten yet.

this game was worth waiting years for. i will def be getting the game. will make 2 of each class because of the female/male characters. so thats a total10 characters.

i died 1 in the bata and came close to dying twice because of the skelton king. i died ony once were i had to smash an orb and sketons surrounded me. just wish i had a better computer because i did have some slowdown.

If I were to play this, I'd roll with the Demon Hunter.

I've been running with the beta for several months now so perhaps the following info should be useful:

1: Normal difficulty is called the "farming difficulty", this is for noobs and WoW players (also known as noobs) to have fun and enjoy the story in. The rest of the difficulties are for the hardcore types

2: the beta is the tutorial portion of the game and approximately 1/4th of the first act. I was able to access forbidden areas of the beta through a glitch along with a bunch of other people. it was patched in a day but it gets much harder.

3: errors abound in beta, I am assuming this will continue well into release. error 30006 is typically a bad password or timeout error if I remember correctly.

4: level cap for beta is 13, toughest monster level is level 8 so that can explain some easyness.

5: the UI is god awful compared to previous versions.

Did play last weekends beta, was surprised how easy it was, even in a group of 5 people.
Played wizard,...and yeah normal difficulty, ... a little too easy for my liking, but good for people who have yet to get into these type of games, perhaps.

Did like the look and feel of the game compared to D2. It resembles D1 more
