That's just it SS. You, me, and the rest of the western world knows that a human life is precious. But when it comes to people living in the Middle East, a human life is worthless. They are raised with the mentality that "The cause is all that matters. So what if we lose hundreds of lives in the process, who cares as long as we wipe out the enemy." I understand where you're coming from, and it's not like I'm saying just forgive and forget for 9/11 or whatever. I'm not at all. I think the States should go in, blow the fuck out of those assholes, and get out. I just have a problem with all the innocents getting killed in the process. I know our government has betrayed the values our country was founded on. My point is, it's when the American people show that they have as little respect for those values as the government, it's just that much easier for the government to abuse its power and kill and exploit the people of other nations. It's mainly because we don't get our fucking noses out of there that so many Muslims hate us.

True. The real problem is, we are the 'Police of the World'. That fucking sucks. Let someone else do it. As said above, our teachers are underpaid, our cops are being let go left and right to save money, even the mainstay of our country, the church, is in ruins with little boy scandals. There are a million problems at home we MUST address. $87 billion to rebuild Iraq?? That would wipe out homeless-ness here at home. I think these factors piss off the public even more. I'm just very upset that we are trying to help these people, but they don't care. I mean yes we will get something out of it, by building malls and shit and taxing them and taking oil, but they will have better lives too. But they don't want us to do that, so we should get out.
