hell yeah they're still funny, i dont think the show could ever get old, lol the show owns, it cant be doubted.

As much as you and me have had our differences, I agree with you. Totally. Simpsons, still one of the best shows ever HAS lost its touch. And has lost if for a while.

I havent seen much of the new season of The Simpsons but I find The Simpsons still funny.Family Guy and The Simpsons are two diffrent types of comedy:

Family Guy isnt as smooth as The Simpsons.
The Simpsons arent as risky as Family Guy.

well let's see... the last time I laughed treal hard during the Simpsons was the episode where Homer finds marges card and he leaves the house:

Brady: Hey Homer weren't you supposed to meet Marge 30 minutes ago?

Homer: *gasp* you're right, oh no, don't you guys have some sort of gay time machine or something...?

Julio: No, well unless you mean Brady's shoe closet...

Brady: Hey Julio, Ouch.

I've seen the new season, it's not as good as it used to be, it's REALLY loosing luster, but then again many of the episodes grow on you, like the hobo telling stories on the train asking for spongebaths... Family Guy is hella funny, and south park has a cult following...

There has been alot of hillarious episodes this seasons so far, and few bad ones.

so yeah, The Simpsons still rules the world.

One of my favorite episode this season is the "Robot Wars" episode. funny as hell!

See, for me, it's just the opposite. It's still funny, but it lacks the greatness, the classic, timeless feel, of the old episodes (seasons 2-7 were the best). It still makes me laugh, but the thing is now the show is just less "realistic" than it used to be. The show in general just seems more cartoony, whereas it used to have more of a sitcom feel, despite being a cartoon. Also some of the stories just don't work; like there was one episode in a recent season where in part of it Homer drove his car into the bay and had his lisense revoked, then became a new man by walking everywhere, meanwhile stress was building on Marge, and she started hating Homer...the story just completely lacked focus.

its stll funny. much better than the really early seasons...i love the jokes they make about politics and religion..its smart humor that is masked as stupid.

its been a REALLY long time since i've ever laughed at it. i always thought futurama and family guy were better than the simpsons. (fox wise)

I used to like the Simpsons, but I really dont think its funny anymore. Plus I dont ever watch it, so I might be missing the good episdoes... but I like Sunday Night Adult Swim best, then its South Park

My fav part is when Marge is talking about her dead cat 'Cinnamon'. That was a great episode, Homer telling Bart he couldn't be at the Robot War because he was meeting an 'old war buddy' had me weak.

Family Guy owns too, I love FG. Maybe more then the Simpsons, but I don't know. Even if it is losing steam, it has paved the way for these other cartoons on network television, and it is the king. I think the movie will be the official 'Jump the Shark' tho, but at least it will be at the end.

SIMPSONS BEST SHOW EVER i'm gonna move to springfield

I LOVE the simpsons... but they have lost their touch... the quality has really decreased... the extra characters are rarely in it (Wiggum, Willy, Otto, etc.) It's too focused on bart and homer... the charactrs have ben totally stereotyped, and Maggie is just non-existent!!! Plus, I don't blame them, but they have no more original funny ideas, which is pretty normal after all the years the Simpsons has been on... actually, I congratulate them for lasting as long as they did....
