I did a thread about this some time ago, and yes it's true, although it's just talks at the moment nothing has been set in stone yet, but it's suggested that it is to be set after return of the jedi, continuing the adventures of Luke skywalker etc, this would suck if this part is true as it wouldn't be the same with different actors and they cant use the same ones due to the fact they are much older than the time period it's set in.

I agree that would be a bad idea to use that time frame. Maybe they could use people other than the Skywalkers, there are pleanty of Jedi out there they could focus on.

I really like that idea. That would be excellent.

I heard it may take place between episodes 3 and 4, covering the continuing war and domination of the sith.

I believe the last rumored series was about Boba Fett between Episodes 3 and 4.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, makes for much better battles as the sith and jedi were in the thousands then, maybe they could go back as far as the kotor game does that's not a bad timeline.

Since KotoR, I've wanted to know more about the original Sith(The species).

I'm sure there's been speak of it ever since the first movie came out.

id like to see a Jedi Academy series.

it doesnt necessarily have to have Luke or any of the other main characters from the films in it either.but im sure they could easily get Mark Hamil to make an appearance as Luke.hes not really up to much lately.

I would like to see a series focusing on young people who are scoundrels living in the streets of Coruscant trying to become Jedi, one is a serious person who suffered a tradjedy in the past other who is his best friend is very skilled in fighting but stubborn and wishes to become the best jedi in the galaxy.

These two grew up together and there whole lives they heard of a war between the Sith and the Republic. As soon as they are old enough they enlist to the Republic to train as Jedi and help their cause. The average person gets praised for his attitude and charisma by the mentor Jedi while his best friend is always ignored and left out. So during each episode you will see him getting frustrated. The angry friend is the best light saber duelist their and pretty much owns every one. He is always critisized for his angry attitude and he refuses to listen.

So for the first few episodes you would see these two train and meet different trainees. The Jedi recruit 1 friend and the other gets frustrated, he leaves the Jedi academy on his own. And during the series you would watch both of them take the path of the Light Side and the Dark Side, and the Finale Episode could have them end up in a huge battle against each other that would decide the fate of the Galazy
