Don't you just love how gamefaqs.com does their character battles?

I mean why do they even bother?

Everyone one knows either Link of the Legend Of Zelda or a Final Fantasy character is going to win.

And God knows how many fanboys for those two games are at gamefaqs.

It also looks like they want to get rid of Scorpion early by pitting his first battle against Auron of FF.

Even though Scorpion is a much cooler character, the fanboys will all pull through for Auron like the dorks they are.

Scorpion would kick his ass royaly in a real battle. (hypothetically speaking)

Indeed.Mortal kombat isnt really too popular there really,dont know why,im a member there,and it may be the fact of half of them being complete jackasses.

I totally agree... I always have high hopes for any MK character but then I realize they have no chance at all.

Its always some BS RPG shit.

Hey, there is no need for that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and all you will do is start flame wars by insulting people like that.
Anyway, I do agree that those polls are a bit biased, but that's how it goes. Sidez, Auron does kick alot of ass, and he might even be able to give Scorp a run for his money.

Imagine that... people have different opinions. Curse anyone who could actually think a great character like Auron is on par with Scorpion. I'd wager that half of you who say you hate Final Fantasy have not even played through more than one game, if you have played at all that is.

Yeah I'm gonna agree with Crow, Auron IS kinda badass. Yet in a match I still think Scorpion would win.

Can you believe August 16th's match? Liquid vs. Frog... Frog was winning. Who the fuck is frog?

FF sucks the fat one.

I've played enough of that game to know that for a fact as well.

Shitty ass battle system that it has.

It must be REAL fun TAKING TURNS to hit each other.

And I love how a character starts to summon an awesome and devastating attack against another character and the most they do is flinch after taking it.

Unless they "die" in which that case, they DISAPEAR.

The game sucks.... flat....out....S.U.C.K.S

And no, Auron is not on par with Scorpion.

Got to agree partly with Crow,the fighting system in final fantasy is enjoyable,very actually.The games themselves are also good,I enjoy playing them.But I disagree with the comment of the mk system being a joke,sure it could be better,but I like it to a certain extent.But it does get VERY annoying at times.

I agree on behalf of blade-tsung.Pretty much the best way to put it,and for my vote,its tough cause I really like Auron,but my vote goes to my favorite mk character scorpion.

Frog is a really cool character from Chrono Trigger. Not as cool as Liquid Snake but whatever...

Yeah, Liquid is awesome. Don't know who frog is. Never played FFX, but from what I've heard, Auron is awesome. Scorpion is cool. In a fight between Liquid, and Scorpion, I'd give the win to Liquid. Nothing can stop the guy. Not getting his helicopter shot down, Not being at the center of a HUGE explosion. Not being tossed off a giant robot (even though he said falling from the MG would be fatal.). Not a jeep crash. Not even getting killed by a bioweapon.
