and Auron will beat scorpion easily, hell I love scorpion and I think he is much more badass and I've played through FFX and beat it, but he is nowhere near as badass as scorp IMO, but I love the character battle. did anyone submit a bracket? I did I have Link winning and I only missed on Shadow's match vs. Tidus so far.

Yeah, that's been puzzling me too. Thanks for speaking up B-T.

One of the few things I did like about X was Auron. He was probably one of the more well designed characters since Cloud & Sephiroth. Lulu was another, I just liked her "Goth" look.

RPG's are one of the more popular genre's, so of course one of their characters will win the battle.

I tried FF6. In fact, I still have it. But I couldn't get into it. I used to think it was the graphics, but then I just got the Mega Man collection, and I've been playing it non stop. lol. (and yes, I am a FF fan) Oh well, I'll just wait for FF12

The only match I have disliked the outcome of so far is Liquid Snake vs. Frog. While Frog is a good character... Liquid is much better in my opinion. I actually don't believe Frog should have been in the tournament at all... three characters from one single character is absurd. Crono and Magus are staples in the tournament and did not need to be joined by Frog.

When it comes to Auron vs Scorpion, I'd have to say it is a fair comparison. I'm saying that because I didn't like FFX at all (the worst FF I've ever played). I do like all of the previous FF's (VIII is my absolute favorite, and I play it at least three times a year), but X was a turn in the series that I just didn't like at all. As for MK and Scorpion: Scorpion has always been my favorite charecter from MK, but it's MK we're talking about. It's not exactly a thinking man's game.

I find it a bit naive to complain about who people at Gamefaqs would vote for. If you are at all familiar to the site, then you already would have known by know that fan boys dominate their boards. but that doesn't provide enough merit to say that's the reason why someone like Link wins. Link wins because he is a beloved charecter. He's been around for about 20 years, and someone who lasts that long is always going to be popular.

well in all that kind of crossovers mk loses, i have seen crossover of all mk chars and in all of them they lose, even a goro vs terry bogard. in my opinion goro would kick terry's ass.
