I don't know about that. I imagine that it wouldn't be able to devote as much time to such a robust cast of characters unless they were creating an epic. This movie was not meant to be epic, I thought it was just supposed to be a fun action flick and that is exactly what I took it as. I don't know how to phrase this, but sometimes instead of being the harshest critic I try to judge a movie based on the fun you have while watching it. I guess you are accustomed (or just wanted this movie in particular) to be an epic like the Dark Knight or something. I knew it wouldn't accomplish that. I just was expecting a fun action flick and I was satisfied. I am not saying this is the best movie ever or anything. I am just saying that I enjoyed it. I am sorry if this whole post seems to be me forcing my opinion onto you. I guess I am just replying because you replied to me.
On a side note (Austin Power Soundtrack song stuck in my head): Come on and love me now (come on and love me now) I will never know because you will never show. Come on and love me now (come on and love me now) CoMe On AnD lOvE mE nOw!

The movie could have been much better, and it could have focused on more than just five people.

Not to worry, no forcing done here.
The movie wasn't bad, but it didn't seem like DOA, to me. No one in the looked nor acted like the actual characters, except Bass. Helena isn't that short and doesn't have a small, Pikachu voice. Her voice is deep, and she is quite tall and has very thick legs. Christine has deadly eyes that were not shown, and Anyane is supposed to look like a kid. She looked 30!
I'm sorry, but it just wasn't as good as it should have been, imo.
