I'd just watched Children of Men. Incredible movie, I really liked it.

Anyways, I got done with my Science finals, understood near everything on it so I should do good, and get a B for a final semester grade, in AVID I didn't do as well, the final was some "Socratic Seminar" thing and I have a problem speaking up in front of people (Socratic Seminars are dialogues, there's debates and dialouges, SS's are Dialogues, where no is against each other, you jut discuss an important topic) but my teacher said I didn't do bad cuz I was listening and I spoke up well. That same teacher is also my honors english teacher, and her final was also today. I did better on that, and it was a normal test thing, not a seminar.
Hopefully, I can pass with B's in those classes for a semester grade.
Tomorrow is Math, World History, and Spanish. After our math teacher gave us the formula to see how the finals will affect our grades in our classes, I found out that:
In order to get a B for my final semester grade in math, I need to get 100 on my final. Yea. I suck at math.
For spanish, 100 for an A. Not as bad, if I miss a few I can still get a B. I don't suck at spanish.
And as for World History.... 92 to get a A. Shouldn't be too hard.

I really liked that movie. It was so intense at times that I didn't even realize that the action scenes (the car ambush and the running towards the building) were like done in one take. I heard that this is one of the few movies that is as good as the book. Maybe I'll give the book a read one day.
I just watched Resident Evil: Degeneration and thought it was really good, although I found myself laughing or going WTF a lot.
Boomboom, I read it. I guess I could respond with my own grades, if I knew them.

At least you have semesters, our school has "trimesters" now!

I remember liking that movie as well, but it was really vague. From what I remember, the writers never explained the cause of why people werent able to reproduce.
Furthermore, I can't remember if the movie had a happy or sad ending either....it just kinda ended without a solid conclusion.
The best thing about the movie were the intense cinematic scenes
The plot reminds of a Vertigo DC comics series called Y: The Last Man....good read.

Well, something exciting happened today in the world of people i know...
Spencer now has the nick-name "Jericho" because he and some dude got into a fight at a bar about a half hour ago. The other dude was trashed, and they went outside, and spencer (who, mind you is about 5'6 in shoes) kicked his ASS and then, for pretty much no reason, put him in the Walls Of Jericho...
