I just saw Nemesis' thread again and it just got out of hand.

Anyway, I have an exam a week tomorrow and am going to suffer as I'm not going to be able to revise all that well this week. My mum goes into hospital for a major operation tomorrow and I have to look after my two younger brothers! It's going to be hell!

Anyways Jolly, it's because you troll around on this site demanding some sort of respect because you're a veteran member. Like somehow that entitles you to say and get whatever you want. You act the same way in the IRC.

I know that you and I don't know each other and we wouldn't be considered "friends", but I like to think that I've gotten to know you somewhat just by reading your posts these past several months, so I hope you'll allow me to give you some friendly advice:

I understand why someone's negative comments about you (especially if they came totally out of left-field as it seems happened yesterday) would make you want to lash out at him and anybody else that treats you that way or says those things about you, but how does actually calling him an "ass" and saying that people in general are "fucking retarted" make you better than them or any better of a person? If someone insults you, why not take the high road and simply ignore that person?

You are a person of authority here. You have a job to do and I'm sure you'd rather the forum members treated you nicely and gave you the respect you deserve (something that applies to each and every one of us), right? Well, believe me when I tell you that the best way of obtaining those things is to simply act like a mature person that doesn't stoop to the level of those that do nothing but attack. I know it's not nice to be insulted or whatever, but it's even worse for those who instigate when they see that their "flames" went unnoticed and had no effect on the people they tried to harm. In conclusion, keep up the good job that I and several others are very much aware of.

He (SK) is in the 360 version. I think the trick is waiting on certain moves. You can jump the fireball (and the hammer, with excellent timing) and land an combo on him, or you can duck the knee and uppercut him. Of course this doesn't work with all characters because Cyrax does have that huge combo (7 hits, 26% if started with a jump punch)

Thanks for the honest advice. I hate how people would consider me a cheater on this site. It's just not true at all. What really is amazing is how even after almost a year this has happened, that people still go on about this nonsense. Just because you been on the site for years doesn't make you any better than a person whose been around for a much shorter time.

I also had respect for Nemesis, mainly due to his sprite comics that liven up the Fan Submission forum. He even spoke to me out of the blue (Which I never would've expected) to talk about metal music. I think there was some good sense in him, but he claims he hangs out at a "hideout" so, not to point fingers or name names, I suspect they must have said something to him and that made Nemesis act the way he did. Stuff like "MegaBabe became a mod because she is Crow's girlfriend" sounds like somebody who just put words in Nemesis' mouth, honestly. I really didn't want to be the cause of so many members to leave the site, but they all pretty much left on their own accord so it's their decision.

While my post did seem unprofessional for a moderator, therefore I apologize for my behavior. But I'm sure most of you who have seen the personal attacks since June or July 2006 on would understand.

Try to not have many proggrammes running.

Even things like internet webpages can slow down your download speed.

I have 1 browser running, iTunes(to stop the boredom of downloading) and flashget and it downloads at 10-20kb/s.

I'd sympathise but...I'm on dial-up. One window running and the download is still 2kb/s. Yeah.....

I feel the pain.
