Jolly I had a dream last night that I was dropping out of UGA for a reason I don't recall. We were eating at Bolton for my final dinner at UGA, but then it wasn't Bolton--it was a country kitchen and everybody burst into song and square-dancing. It was weird. I think I had turkey and you got those little weird hot empanada things you claim intrigue you. lol. I love stupid dreams. I had one a few weeks ago in which I got run over by a bus in front of Park Hall. Yay!

wtf is an empanada? And what are you doing in Park Hall? Summer classes?

I can't believe what happened today. I had a job interview with Blockbuster. A preliminary job interview. I show up in a really nice shirt (collared, long sleeved, buttons, tie) and black jeans and the job interviewer who was in shorts and a black polo was like "you don't know how to dress go home" and I was just like, "really for Blockbuster? look what you're wearing!" but of course I'm polite and was just like "oh I'm sorry for the misunderstanding." What a rude douche bag. I need a job so bad, I mean I'm still desperate enough where I would have worked there, but now whatever. I mean, they didn't even say I had to wear a suit over the phone, so what the hell do they expect. Gosh, even the people there. It was like two really dirty looking guys, one who did not have any business dying his hair orange. What the hell.

I don't normally post videos on MKO, and I most certainly don't take the time to make a clickable link, but this is some serious talent that can't go unseen:

Yea, it was rude of him, but always assume suit unless they specifically tell you otherwise.

Honestly, I've always found the tradition of suits to interviews tedious at best. There are certain areas where suits are indeed the best choice, but at a job where the environment is lax, why the shit would you need to be formal? Not only do you look like a douche, but you make everyone else feel uncomfortable.

"Fuck man, I am so under dressed for Blockbuster!"

They shouldn't make you put on a guise just to get a job (i.e., wearing a suit). You want to work a Blockbuster, show up as you would if you had a job there.

Ridiculous. Stepbrothers touched on this a bit, albeit in a humorous manner.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm past that phase of my life where I can get away with making minimum wage (thank you, college degree, lol), but if I want to make the employer know that I mean business and that I want the job more than the other applicants, I'm showing up dressed to impress.

It's just unfortunate for people who don't have money to get nice clothes so they try to get a job and be able to afford such things, but they'll never get the job because they don't have the money to afford the suit.

Anyways, I saw Metric today.

I'm enjoying my new laptop I got for a graduation present, and I have a messed up knee.

Throbbing pain in my knee kept occurring yesterday at my friend's house that I literally passed out because my body cannot handle pain for some reason. Swollen like crazy, I should go get this thing checked out though I don't have a car and I'm not walking to the clinic by myself because I fear something bad might happen. My friend is at orientation at her college today and I'm awaiting her response back to me while I'm enjoying my new laptop in a comfy position on my couch... I think I want to play Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64... yes people, I still play that system.

And with that I am done.

I can't even get passed love. But haha, one time one exgirlfriend was talking to me about how she wants a huge wedding, and I said I think a small wedding would suffice and the money could be used for something else like a downpayment on a house and she started crying.
