When I was younger my friends and I used to play Dungeons and Dragons. Lame, I know. But we outgrew it and one of my friend's found a role-playing website. For the last eight years, as an insomniac I have hung around in the 'Out Of Character Lobby' as just a random chatroom at nights. Well today one of the people there was visiting NYC, and she decided to have a few of us meet up. Trust me, this story isn't going anywhere good. Anyways, she was 21, I'm 19, another girl was 19, and another guy was 18. That was us, we had drinks and drugs. But it wasn't really a great experience for me. The 21 year old and I were both cool, laid back, and well rounded people. But the other two people, I couldn't believe it. They were literally like 'internet nerd' stereotypes. First time drinking, first time smoking, and I mean I have no issue with anyone who chooses to live their life without substance abuse, but it's just the eagerness they had to try these things and socialize, it kind of scared me a bit. It's just like, what is wrong with you people that you don't actually have friends of your own, and go party on your own. I don't know, it just scares me when people fall under my definition of the word 'sheltered' in their personality, beliefs, and life experiences. I spend so much time really trying to get inside of other people's heads and figuring out their thought processes on why they justify the decisions that they make. I try so hard to not be 'judgemental.' Oh well. I can see that this little 'rant' has gone on for further than I meant it to. But whatever, skip over it, it's just a Drive-By post.

Juat learned how to play the intro to "Unwind the Chainsaw" form Avenged Sevenfold's new 5th album, yet to be titled. The guitar just makes me go crazy so I had to learn it and my hand is swore now. complicated.

Also glad to hear the album is even alive. After Jimmy passed (RIP Rev). I thought it would be over. Although it looks to be their last record, I am glad as I am sure it will be their best.

Mike portnoy (Dream Theatre) has stepped in for recording on behalf of Jimmys writing being finish before he died. Recording is well underway and a July release is rumored. Stoked on all counts.

on another note. I beat "Heavy Rain" for ps3 today. A truly great and deep emotional story. But I dont think its worth the $80.

I've been worried about a girl I really care for as of late due to some events I explained earlier in drive-by. Was tryig to take my mind off it by hanging out with some lady-friends I know that are friends of hers I haven't seen in a long time.

Well, she was hanging out with them, so I was glad to know she was doing ok...we hung out, smoked a bit, drank a bit, and had a great time. 'Twas a good night :)

I'm already missing her...god, I hate being a guy sometimes.

I'm telling you man, Crosby is one of two players in the NHL (the other being Kyle Okposo) who I want to see get wrecked every single time they step on the ice. I've yet to see someone deck Crosby the way Okposo got nailed by Phaneuf in the preseason, but I can still dream.
