In case anybody is interested, here's what my life has been like since July 2008:

After MONTHS of debating whether or not I should do it, I finally moved out of my parents' house and I've been living ed in a townhouse-ish apartment ever since. My business is still going strong, and since early 2008 I've also been an insurance broker. On a personal level, after my last relationship ended in early 2007, I had a fling here and there, I was really into the wrong girl for the hundredth time, and about a year ago I met the girl who is my current girlfriend (we've been an official couple for nearly 5 months now, though our relationship -as complicated as it was during the first several months- goes farther back), and if everything goes as well as it has been so far, she just might be "the one."

In my brief time back, it's good to see several peeps I remember from years ago (or the ones I talk to/see on Facebook and/or MSNM). I truly hope that things are going as well for them as they are for me.

Victoria's Secret is evil!

I want to know if I could be a Victoria Secret model... I want to look all serious while having my hand on my chest looking all serious.

There was this university competition where you vote to have Victoria Secret models come to your campus and there'd be a concert and free merchandise. I think it started off with 59 schools, narrowed down to sixteen and then it was a tournament based elimination and we were the final two with West Virginia University, but they had some kind of script hack or something where they were voting 100 votes every even minute. They wound up winning, which is even more suspicious because since the beginning there was a WVU sweatshirt on the website, and ... blah the spokespeople running it basically don't care and say they have no way to moniter to voting and we have Google spreadsheets showing the data. I mean it was a fun competition, and if we lose we lose, but I just hate that they don't care that they've been hacked and they're going to let them win. Even if they've been hacked, like I said, it was suspicious that they had the only on even minutes voting going on, and there was a once every five minute voting rule ... hmmm this paragraph is now to the point of too much blah blah blah you've lost interest and nobody cares.

Today i found out that a good friend of mine was shot last night (she ́s alive, but might lose a hand) by a white supremacist while at work. The guy shot out 2 places that night and then blew his brains out. The shooter had a violent criminal history that was about as long as the encyclopedia. Somehow this guy kept getting out of jail on bail and he had a gun. Good job Texas!!! you work hard on those text books now!
