My next MK-based short story is being looked over by my girlfriend (a non-MK fan). I've been writing it for months on my iPod touch, and when it was transferred to Word, it turned out to be 22 pages. I think I'll make it into two submissions, to make it easier for people to read once it's submitted.

Glad to see I still have a reader.
I'm already thinking about changing a big part of the story that featured some characters never introduced into MK as characters, so we'll see if it works first.

Just noticed my Rank changed.. Huh, that's pretty cool. Guess i'm a Warrior now.
At what point is it okay to kill a human being? And I'm not talking murder, I mean execution, PAS, or anything similar. I've never been the most moral person, but I fail to see how someone can justify killing someone just because of certain circumstances. And even through that, what circumstances does there need to be?

And now I know how Joan of Arc felt
Now I know how Joan of Arc felt
As the flames rose to her Roman nose
And her Walkman started to melt
I'm horny.

You think the nazis wanted to kill all those people, torture them and execute them. You think they were cold blooded killers with no heart.
See you dont know shit, circumstances can be extremer where you have no choice at all.
My grandma told me she saw germans walking down the street in their uniforms crying.
You think they wanted to kill all those innocent people?
They had no choice at all.
Maybe you havent been through much vash, but you dont know what some people have to go through and the decisions they must make. Im not saying killing someone is right, but you dont know the circumstances. Life is hard young boy. Maybe when you grow up you will realize its not all so care free and easy.

To be honest, if they are an immediate threat to your safety and escaping is not an option, I believe that that's an "okay" for killing someone. Any other situation will just turn into legal trouble for you once the blood's been spilt. The worst part is that

Whenever it came to killing in general I've always stuck with two basic reasons: Food and Protection.
Now in terms capital punishment, I'd say only when the person is a never-ending threat, serial killers and repeated sexual offenders, for example.

Sega, please tell me you're trolling.
In any case, I can only repeat what has been said. Self defense, and social protection. The whole controversy behind these factors is deciding when somebody is truly dangerous enough to be executed.
One of my major issues is PAS though. Physician Assisted Suicide. Like I just can't seem to find a position on it. No matter how much I think about it, I can't decide if it's right or wrong. If a patient is in a vegetative state, I can't help but feel for both sides. To me doing something is as bad as doing nothing. Like, living a dead life is no reason to live, but do you really have the right to kill them? Especially if you don't have any consent from said person? I know some people discuss things like this before they happen, but when they don't, who is honestly qualified to make such a decision?

Then the family is the one best suited to know what the unconcious people would chose. I'm for the choice, but my family knows that I would have them not unplug me unless I asked.

NEWS FLASH: not all of the Nazis were reluctant to do their jobs.
Many of them were as prejudice as the KKK, maybe through lies, maybe through biased beliefs, but nevertheless the hatred was real.
And how dare you talk down Vash like he's some naive teen who's just talking out his ass like he knows nothing of the world around him?
You yourself need some growing up to do.

But can the family be trusted to make a conscious and well minded decision? This would clearly be a time of extreme stress for them, how can you be sure they'll make the same decision they would a week from now.
Anyway, the reason I bring all this up is because my cousin was in a car accident a few weeks ago, and after being comatose, it was revealed the other day that he's going to be in a permanent vegetative state. And the most likely course of action my aunt and uncle will take is putting him down, for lack of a better phrase. So I've been thinking about that a lot lately.
