I kind of like the down time on this site a few months after the latest MK game gets released when there are only like 10 users online.

if the new MK gets its wish and becomes all popular and stuff, then that down time might take a while longer to achieve

This is why I hate electronica becoming mainstream. "Producers" are more concerned with the DAW they use than making good music. They (DAWs) all do the same fucking thing, be it Logic or FL Studio. Some just come better equipped to get the job done out of the box. However, if you add a bit of third party software to FL Studio/Reason: OH SHIT IT"S EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS ABLETON!!! It takes work to get what you want, and this new flood of "producers" don't seem to understand that. I use three different DAWs. They all do the same thing.

why do you like the down time?

My buddy just started with this, and has been heavily researching processes used by more notorious electronica/mash-up artists. From working with him, your post makes so much sense, and I definitely agree. He's currently got two DAWs, and both work very similarly. And I also like how you put the word producers in quotations.

I thought I was the only MKOer who liked Survivor! I love Survivor, is my favorite reality show. I can talk about it all day long. lol
I'm actually thinking about applying for it in the future.

Anyway, the first episode of RI was good. The ending was the best part of it. You need to watch it.

Btw, my favorites this season are: Francesca, Kristina, Mike(only because he's hot ;), Grant(same reason as Mike), David, and Stephanie.

Yeah man, it just gets annoying, particularly when people hate on FL Studio. The program isn't noob software at all if you know a damn thing about producing/automation/sampling/synthesizing/ etc. There's a reason people like Afrojack and Laidback Luke still use it. Still, you have those pompous Logic whores who spout out "I HAVE MAC I AM ARTISTS DERP!" and it gives other DAWs a bad name. (I'm not starting a mac vs PC war btw, I like both systems.) FL Studio is a very good and useful program.

I really want to try out BT's Stutter Edit, but I haven't exactly cracked Logic yet on my computer. Stupid hacks not doing what they say they're going to do lol.

So annoyed, one of the two short films I did in January actually removed my part in the final release! What as the point of me wasting my day and getting myself cut, bruised, and having my shirt torn if the scene wasn't even going to be in it? Seriously, so freaking annoying...
Speaking of stupidities that only give me grief, why do I keep signing up to be a freaking extra everywhere? Seriously, no more out-of-city roles after this week ends, and no more extra roles either. I'm doing nothing but extra shoots and rehearsals all week!
