Haha, I know that feeling man. I don't have logic, so I'm not sure if you get a trial, but assuming it does you should still be able to mess around with that automation. The only restrictions I've come across in DAW demos is lack of MP3 conversion and trial synths. I'm looking to make my own trademark sound ever since I learned more about complex synthesizing. I like how Skrillex makes talking basses, but that's his thing.

IDK if logic initially supports third party plug ins, but if it does you usually only have to cut and paste the third party file into your VST program file. In your case (if I'm assuming correctly) Just copy and paste the SE files into your VST folder. This is assuming you have a PC. If you own a MAC, I have no idea how to crack things.
