Not to drag it out, but I wish the people who "miss" that time period in MKO were the ones who had to wake up to constant abuse and mistreatment from people on this website. Probably would miss it a whole lot less then.

Very true, it's the PT Barnum circus concept, where people only remember the parts they like and ignore the bad stuff/boring parts that they weren't interested with.

Don't get me wrong Crow and Jerrod. The whole mod war was pointless bullshit, because it ultimately accomplished nothing. I was referring to the number of memorable active users, the activity in the General forums, and the ridiculous amount of laughs that were had. I lurked a whole year here before I decided to join, because there was enough action here to get by without posting. Sure, you had to mop up a bucket of shit back then. But that shit bucket marked one of the most interesting time periods of this site in the last 5-6 years. I will admit, it is starting to pick up again, but with considerably less trolls. I just miss it because there was always a new post, and be it good or bad, it made this place interesting.

For instance, I was reading old posts last week. Somebody made a post that was full of typos, and it was unintelligible. Another user replied "You type like you have a dick in your mouth." Yes, that was skull worthy. True, it was uncalled for. But wow was that funny.

I’m going through A Public Enemy phase right now. One of my favorite groups from back in the day. They never get old. Chuck D’s voice mixed with the funky beats and Flavor Flav’s personality make for great songs.

Yeah, my arms and abs were in pain. Good thing there was such an enormous line for the treadmills. I don't think I could have lasted my entire usual run.

As a strange person that I am, I find this to be the strangest thing I've done so far. Not sure if you'll agree or not, but I find it quite strange that I'm drawing Mortal Kombat costume concepts while listening to Street Fighter's character select theme...

People, I've played softball for thirteen long years, and ten of those years I've played outfield. NEVER did I catch a ball with one hand at a pop up... It's not rocket science, you catch the ball with two hands. One of the hand catches the ball, the other hands protects the ball and it won't drop once you catch it. Seriously it's not rocket science.

Though the Cubs are wasting their money away keeping this shitty left fielder... Even his batting average sucks... I have no idea why we keep the crappiest players and get the crappiest players. Seriously... Ron Santo is probably getting pissed off in Heaven right about now. Soriano cost the game because he can't catch. The guy can't catch if his life was at stake.
