Well the diablo 3 rune system has been revealed, so far the general rule appears to be:

Crimson: Explosive/extra damage effect

Indigo: Spread (more projectiles etc)

Obsidian: Shielding and defense attributes

Golden: Resource Reduction (mana/fury cost)

Alabaster: stun or slow effect.

Quite simplified from the original rune system. I like it.

It was pretty sweet. My only complaint was that it felt really short. It ended with a possible sequel.

Sweet thanks for the input. I’ll definitely check it out this weekend. Looking up the run time. Yeah it does seem a bit short. But with a possibility of a sequel that should make up for it. It’s a real gripe with me when they sacrifice story telling and decent run times for Special effects. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy it .
