Wouldn't surprise me, Blink's lead singer/guitarist Tom Delonge is part of Angels and Airwaves.

The new Blink single kind of sucks. If that's the best they can come up with, why bother putting anything out?

I knew that, but I would expect to at least hear something that sounds like Blink and not from some other band that Tom's apart of. Granted that ever since his daughter popped out, he wants to take a different route in music. No more silly humor that Blink was somewhat known for. Which sucks.



From what my bf told me, and he's a HUGE follower of this band, they normally put out their singles that was written by Tom, and as I stated to Spider, he's changed ever since he's got his daughter. He wanted to change direction, I mean Angels and Airways was the band's title so that he can do something with his daughter's name. i forgot exactly what it is that the name does that shows what his daughter has to do with it. But meh, it's something I'll have to listen to over and over again to see what I really think of it.

It's like 30 Seconds to Mars... It takes a while for you to actually like it... Or still dislike it.

My favourite blink-182 album is blink-182.

I was so excited when that album came out because their style greatly changed (and matured?). And then they broke up. I was sad.

And then I heard that they got back together. But Angels and Airwaves sucks, so now I'm really worried that everyone dislikes the new single.

I'm about to give it a listen right now.

No, it's... really not. Anything that has to do with the male genitalia, joking-wise, seems funny to a thirteen year old.

To others it might be hilarious... but to me, natta.

I love blink-182's new song. I haven't heard too much Angels and Airwaves, but this doesn't remind me too much of that. This song is fucking awesome actually, it has elements of classic blink-182 catchy pop-punk chord progression chorus while going in a completely new direction.

Very different from their previous stuff, but still has the element that signifies them intact.

I find it similar to Linkin Park's "A Thousand Suns" which I absolutely LOVED.

Yeah some people wont be too fond of the changes some will, i am one who appreciates the exploration and experimenting with new directions.

And I can't wait to listen to this stoned!!!!!!

Nah, it's just that kind of humor would seem to please a kid who just realized that girls do not have dicks but boobs became their best friends... and their right hands.
