Battlefield is a terrible piece of shit series. Sorry to break it to you but it is the truth.

Modern Warfare may have it's share of issues but each game is more entertaining than Battlefield a.k.a the FPS for this generations consoles yet it uses Sega Dreamcast graphics and has one of the worst storylines ever.

Halo was fine until the pile of shit known as Halo: Reach came out. I hope that the AE of Halo CE will be better than Reach but then again..... it can't be worse.

If anything it goes BF>Halo>any other game>COD.

At the end of the day though, the best FPS game will always be Turok 2: Seeds of Evil in my book.

No Way, In terms of Games that are out now for each series it goes like this, in terms of entertainment not shit that MLG fucktards would claim good because as proven in Halo.... all of their gametypes suck.

Halo 2 > MW > MW2 > Halo 3 > Halo CE > Halo Wars > Black Ops > COD 2 > World At War > Cod 3 > All BattleField Games.

Got bored yesterday and soft-modded my Wii. A lot more difficult to get back-ups running than I thought it would be!

I've done this sort of thing before, but never with a wii. I've never seen so many tutorials that do the exact same thing, but with completely different steps before. There's like 80 different methods to doing ANYTHING, but the end result is always the same. Not to mention the Wii soft-modding community are all pushing their own favourite ways of doing things. It's hard for one to learn what to do with so many different ideas flying around.

Regardless, soft-mod was successful, and back-ups work now.

Storyline and graphics are about the least important things in a shooter.

Turok: Evolution is my personal fave. I used to play it every day on me PS2 as a young lad.

My decisions made my story in 2 a hell of a lot different than my brother's. He killed Wrex, so the Grunt loyalty mission was different for him. Also, I chose Udina over Anderson. I hoped he'd step up to the plate and be less of an ass; I was wrong. So I never got my Spectre status back; my brother did because he chose Anderson, but we both let the Council die.

Haha I miss that game. I remember a multiplayer map called Fish in a Barrel.
So much fun. And another mode, like monkey mode or something!

The gameplay graphics of Battlefield are always shitty. I know that Storyline and Graphics aren't that important when it comes to shooters but MW has those while BF lacks them and since we are comparing the two... it is pretty valid.

Modern Warfare games may have everything being overpowered but it is a game and not real life so let it be as fictional in that sense as it wants. If you want everything to be on an extreme level of realism go join the damn military. The gameplay of the Modern Warfare games are pretty damn entertaining, even when I was first getting used to it back in the days of COD4 and I wasn't that good.

The only way BF can ever be fun is if you play with a select few people that you know because that game is so team based. I am not saying that team based games suck (with the exception of battlefield) but it is ridiculous that the game is so team based that I can't play with randoms due to how ignorant the online community is. In COD I can at least play with people I know and we can kick ass together or I can go into a game of anything and Kick Ass alone against a team.

Don't even get me started on the shitty tank vehicle use from World at War, COD3, and Bad Company 2....

Bro, I'm not arguing your other points, but look at gameplay for Battlefield 3. The graphics outdo any Call of Duty game by a long shot.

That's a fun one too. Multiplayer on that game is so entertaining.

Okay.. I watched the E3 video again just now. The only thing I would say is better graphic wise is the smoke and dust clouds that appear on the screen. Other than that I don't see much of anything that is better. I really can't compare a tank to MW games.

Battlefield and CoD both have shit graphics. BF2 looked like a damn N64 game for fuck's sake. MW2 even looked last-gen on my HD setup. Halo has consistently looked better than any shooter out there in every iteration of the series.

Now to gameplay. I don't play BF so I can't attest to any of its balancing, design, or whatever, so I'm going to leave that alone. I'm only going to compare CoD and Halo. Games in question will be every Halo FPS not named ODST, CoD4, MW2, and BO.

If I want solid weapon balancing:
H3 > CoD4 > H2 > H:CE > MW2 > H:R > BO

If I want great maps:
H2 is the best and no other game comes close. If you want the breakdown after that, it's:
H3 > H:CE > CoD4 > BO > H:R >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MW2

If I want fun gametypes:
Any Halo > Any CoD. However:
H3 > H:R > H:CE. CoD gametypes have been the same throughout, so there's no rating scale. They're shitty in every game. (S&D is fun though... if I want to play Counter-Strike and not CoD)

If I want a satisfying online experience:
H3 > MW2 > H2 > CoD4 > H:R > BO (obviously CE is ineligible for not having online support on consoles)
The only reason that I have MW2 so high on this one is due to the challenges. Those alone are reason to keep playing that pile of a game.

So that's what I think. Take it for what you will.

Halo: Reach... The game where the used the system that the community uses to make maps to make some to ship on the game because they got way to damn lazy.
