She might be my mother, but I live with the most deluded, hypocritical, self centred, stubborn and unapologetic woman in the world. She picks fights over nothing, jumps to conclusions and is as reluctant to apologise to others as she is to listen to them. She's every bar of her own mother and daughter, who she ironically despises both for those very character traits. Despite living with her for 21 years I've no idea how to handle her when she starts and as a result I end up roaring at her and losing my temper because she just wont fucking listen to other people or acknowledge when she's in the wrong. Shes the type of person that'd sit there and tell you a Banana is purple and insist on it, even if you had solid proof it was yellow. Infuriates me to the point I get unreasonably angry.

Does anybody have any experience on how to deal with people like this?

I'm considering moving out within the next two months just to get away from her, depsite not being too sure if I'll be able to afford it. She's utterly intolerable.

Well my parents are divorced so I don't have to see her ALL the time (thank god). Recently my dad moved to Florida, thus killing her chances of coming to visit me at his house (thank god again).

She isn't so bad sometimes but when she is it is beyond any other level I have seen.

Best is when she tried taking my laptop once for whatever reason. I stole her car keys and glasses and told her that in order to get them back she has to give me my laptop.... it worked

I'm more like the adult than she is, which is totally wrong. She literally throws a child like tantrum whenever she's confronted about anything and expects me to be like this secretary that sorts her life out for her. She'll be fucked when I move out for college in September and the cold thing is I wont feel sorry for her at all. She's always like this, you'd swear with my last two months living at home she'd make the most of it.

Grrr. I'm sorry to rant but she's seriously pissed me off. Oddly, she's bothered me more than Freddy's inclusion as DLC! lol
