Well, to add another detail, these are actually bedroom suites within the guy's home; however, since we do not have a common area in the suites (kitchen doesn't count), and since the guy needs to come in from the outside to enter our section, the laws are different from what the landlord thinks they are. In any case, the fight was huge, and the law is on the tenant's side in this case.
I'm going to be receiving a visitor here soon as well, so I think I have to be ready to arm myself with some facts to prepare to bring up against my landlord... However, I am under a lease, which means that I could be fucked, since there is a mention about him having the right to "serve a notice to vacate on any person occupying the premises other than the tenant." I'm looking through the laws to see if his mentioning that includes guests staying for less than a month.

Today's my one year anniversary with my girlfriend. That means it's my longest relationship ever. And surpassed the awkward 2 month mark when girls decide to tell me that they love me and I say I don't feel the same way.

I watched her GMA live performance vids and heard about it in the comments and watched more videos to see if it was in there.

In the past few months, I've moved out of the apartment I spent all my college years in, almost moved to a really crappy apt, then DID move to a different crappy apartment. Now I've moved again, and am just settling in. I've had to miss so much goddamned work to take my mother to various medical appointments I'm amazed I haven't been fired. I'm paying for her surgery, and at the same time have had to buy a new couch and washer/dryer set. In short, right now I am just tired and broke.

Tonight, I finally got online connectivity restored at home after a week without even having time to attend to the matter since moving in, and with nary an appointment until mom's surgery in a little over a week, can relax a bit. About goddamned time.
