Tomorrow I get my psp and 1 game. I'm having trouble deciding between peace walker or Dissidia 012. I can't frikkin decide.

if you have a PS3, get Dissidia, and save up for the MGS HD collection, it has MG1, MG2, MGS2, MGS3, and Peace Walker.

if you don't, then I have to say Peace Walker even though I haven't played Dissidia 012...

EDIT: oh, Wait, the HD collection is on 360 too... get it there if you can then I guess...

I made these sprite comics when I was 13 years old. I am almost 19 now. And holy fuck, these are terrible. Jesus H. Christ. And I remember getting SOOOOOOOOO offended when I would get negative reviews from people. I can't believe anyone even gave me positive feedback or wanted to host the comics on The Kombat Pavilion. Ahh, embarassing childhood memories...

The Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence version thats in the HD Collection comes with the emulated MSX versions of Metal Gear 1 and 2. So in total, you get 5 games.

Seriously, buy it. Very worthy purchase. I can't imagine playing Peace Walker on a handheld after playing it on my TV.

I might when I get my money. I've also been looking into Zone of the Enders HD Collection. I want that as well.

Some of the character designs I dislike have grown on me (Raiden, the Cyborgs) and the rest is till meh. Story's still horse crap and Human Smoke is still garbage.

As for gameplay, it has freedom.. Takes a while to get the timing right, but the potential combos are high. It's pretty neat, but it's not as fast as people claimed. Pretty fun... and it's a good thing I did not set my expectations too high.

I hate the bosses now even more now.

You played it after the dash nerf patch though, it used to be fast. Also, more combos were doable before the patch.

I'd correct you, but someone already has...

As GodlyShinnok said, they nerfed the dashing, it used to be a lot easier to be mobile, I really dislike that portion myself, it's not like they gave us a run button and they slowed it down a bit.

The dashing was actually good and reasonable.

Yay, glad you like the game, some costume design choices are certainly very blah and story has its issue, but the plus side is at least the gameplay is enjoyable this time through.
