I'm still enjoying the new Rayman game. :)

IGN has a article about Underworld versus Resident Evil. Underworld got my vote hands down. All the RE movies were shit except the first one.

It's a great game. The soundtrack though, is so fucking irritating. Terrible, even. It's odd because the rest of the sound design is generally pretty awesome (especially in that world with the musical instruments everywhere). The music has no reason to be so overly cutesy. I don't know about most people, but when a game is as challenging as Rayman Origins can be, I don't want to have to listen to chipmunk vocals every time I restart. It's grating.

I can't play it for extended periods of time because of it. And I can never play a game the first time through without sound, so that's not an option.

I thought the second one was an alright action movie (Jill>Alice) but 3 and 4 blew chunks.

I'm mostly bitter because the way they ended apocalypse led me to believe that Alice was going to be evil or something. But nope. They end up making the entire planet infected (and how the hell did that even happen).

What's funny is the sherry birkin of the films (angie ashford) has the same fate as the actual Sherry Birkin in that now we're left to wonder just what happened to her after 2.

Underworld was alright too but that's the only one I watched/enjoyed. Res 1 and Underworld by themselves are pretty much even to me but as a franchise I'd go with Underworld.

Also the comments on that article are flat out painful to read.
