I wish video games now and days didn't cost $60.
There's a lot of good games I want this year and the only one I am able to get for right now is the special edition of Diablo 3, and that's already costing my $90 since I already pre-ordered it, might put another $10 next time I go to Woodfield, whenever the opportunity to go to Gameworks again comes around before the apparent release... Even though an official one has not yet been stated.
Although, I guess I can just continue playing the games I have for my PS3 since it lost all of my trophies and saved games because, before my brother got his own PS3, we decided to get it hacked... unfortunately it did not allow us to play any other games that required an update... Otherwise the hack would be useless.
So because we got it un-hacked, everything has been deleted, such as completed games and such... Which is a shame, but yet again, it's not.

Video games have always been around the same price, especially if you consider inflation. In many cases, it's better now. Check out some indie titles; you won't be paying 60 bucks for those, and that's where all the innovation lies.
NES games costed about 600 marks new here equal to circa €100 but nowadays a game costs €40-70 new, depending on where you buy it. The reason for this was the fact that NES games were in cartridges. Same went with SNES and N64 games. P.S. Smoke for an MKO theme!

I think Banjo-Tooie was at least $60-something dollars when I got it...
Actually, it might've been $70.00, now that I think about it.
Shit's expensive.
Edit: I bought War Gods for 3 dollars a few months ago. Still a rip-off.

On the topic of buying games:
If this anti-used games thing is true, fuck that. That's one of the only pros of console gaming.

So wait, what they're saying is that if I play Gears of War 3 on my 360, and I go out to buy a 720, I can't play my Gears of War 3 copy on the new console?

You can't play SNES Yoshi's Island on your N64. Keep your old console. People are becoming too reliant on the expectation of backwards-compatibility.
I hate when new consoles come out because I never have the money to get them. I always have to wait like three years after they come out to get them really cheap.
And you should probably keep your old console, you never know what the gaming industry is going to do. I have all my old consoles (NES, SNES, N64, PS2, Gamecube, Mrs. Pacman Plug and Play).

I'm thinking I should continue my Hardcore run on Dead Space 2.
Also, job interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Also: "PICKLE BARREL, KUMQUAT, PICKLE BARREL, KUMQUAT, PICKLE BARREL, KUMQUAT, CHIMICHERRYCHANGA!"
Pinky (with her dialogue), Derpy (premiere speaking scene) and Apple Jack (with her shenanigans) owned the latest episode.

I think kumquat sounds better. I prefer cherrychanga to chimicherry. Good luck with your job interview!
I've never bothered with Dead Space 2's Hardcore mode, it is the reason I'll never be able to platinum Dead Space 2! (Earning a platinum trophy for a PS3 game is the equivalent reward to the 360's 1000 gamerscore points for earning all achievements in a game. You earn a platinum trophy for earning all other trophies.) I've platinum'd Dead Space 1, but because of DS2's Hardcore mode, I'll never platinum it! But I have read some tips on beating Hardcore mode.

What tips? I'd like them. I think I'll start my run over. I'm sure I can definitely go beyond Chapter 5 before I save.

I didn't read much, only save point recommendations.
If you have a PS3 then (adjusting to you trying to save beyond ch.5) save at chapter 6, then chapter 10-13 then finally at chapter 13-15. Whichever you feel more comfortable.
If you have an Xbox 360, then you can still probably save at chapter 5, then save at chapter 11-13, then finally at 13-15.
You might've noticed I have different save point recommendations depending on your gaming console. Reason for this is that the Xbox version of Dead Space 2 is two discs. You have to switch discs at chapter 8 (or was it around 8?), if you are playing in Hardcore mode you have to save then you can switch discs. It doesn't take away any of your 3 saves, essentially giving Xbox 360 Hardcore runners 4 saves.
