I would try to join if you made one.
Still have internet problems, so no promises.

Most of those super flashy combos are never really applicable when you're playing someone of similar or equal skill from my experience. I'd go with anything between upper 20% to upper 30%, almost everything else requires meter or very strict timing, not to mention how important meter management is.

I'm like that with the new MK game. I'm looking at the combo videos for characters like Skarlet and Kitana on Youtube where people are getting 20+ hits and 50-70% damage inputs and I'm like "damn. I'd never have the patience to remember those sort of inputs and put that much time into remembering how each different character works". I can do about 14 hits with Mileena and deal out about 38% without an Xray or depleting much meter, and that's the height of what I'm capable of on a good day! lol

I have procrastination problems too. I also want to get better at drawing, but lack the patience necessary to develop my artistic skills. I have little skill, but if I'm determined, I can make a half-decent (probably a little less) drawing in about 30 to 60 minutes. Too long a time to be taking for what comes at the end.

I've a 5 month old kitten and guys, she has my head melted. She's the first cat I've ever had, I'm more used to training dogs.
I know cats will be cats but she's incredibly bold. She scratches people and furniture, bites, kicks her litter all over the floor, wont obey or recognise warnings and now to top it off she's decided she's taken a dislike to my sisters newborn baby and either tries to climb on top of the baby whilst she's asleep or else shits in the hall when she doesn't get her way.
I've looked up every possible way of disciplining her. I've tried water sprays, gentle and imposing verbal commands, even the "pin from the scruff of the neck to the floor" approach (since apparently mother cats do that to kittens who misbehave) but she's increasingly getting more and more rebellious. What's worse is that I'm the only one in the house responsible for her, my parents don't try scold her and don't know how to manage her, so when she sees me now she's getting more cheekier and ignoring me more and more.
I love her to bits and I play with her as much as I can, but if this keeps up and she keeps misbehaving the way she is I'm going to have no other choice but to get rid of her, as there's already complaints from the folks about the way she's behaving and I don't want that. I'm at my wits end here.

With Rain? I don't know. His timing isn't as hard as it used to be for me.

@ J-Spit
His timing isn't as strict as some characters, but that wasn't the point I was arguing. Rain has great damage output too, but consistency and reliability is greater than higher damage in my opinion based on my own personal observations, not to mention, there's no real point in knowing high damage if you cannot pull it off consistently against opponents of equal or similar skill.
I know Rain has some good bnb's and his execution isn't that bad
Like 1,2, forward 4 dash 1,2 forward 4, 4,3 lightning, roundhouse, geyser kick for 35% it's good damage and it's reliable.
You can get in the 40's with him off of a jump in punch for some combos without meter, but jump ins are risky and susceptible to punishment, so I prefer to do a similar combo that's 3% less, but far less risk of being punished. My post applies to all characters, not just Rain.
