The only game I have on my PS3 that has online is MK9, but I have yet to play it online.

Well I played some TM games before so I'm not really new to the series. Maybe there'll be an easier diff level in the final game, but I feel like they should have made it available for the demo too. I don't think this demo will win them any new fans. Even I, who have played previous TM games, don't feel like trying again, I'm just not hardcore enough.

Is it sad that out of the full hour I played twisted metal I got only 3 or 4 kills?

So the challenge mode is set above the normal difficulty apparently, and there definitely WILL be a difficulty slider thing... and beating the stories on different difficulties unlocks different endings for the characters...

I think its really easy. It is all about familiarity. Remembering where the health and power ups are. And since there is only one map it is easy to remember. Outlaw is easily the best choice for beginners. Very accesible to newcomers. On challenge mode I can kill everyone in under 5 minutes. It was hard at first but once you get the hang of it it's easy. I will get this game but not at release. Sometime down the road I will.
