I am going to blame the parent in this case, because why would a parent leave a sick kid by themselves in a place where God knows what could happen?

Granted that the kid was smart enough to defend herself against a kidnapper like that, but not every kid could or would do something like that. Kidnappers and rapists spend their times in stores like that, just waiting for an opportunity such as that to strike up. They make their moves. We've probably see people like that doing normal activities in the stores, but we don't know ourselves that they're monsters until they strike. As what Espio said, its common sense to know what is right and what is wrong when coming to watching kids. Letting them just roam around in a toy isle by themselves while being sick doesn't sound smart whatsoever.

If I was a parent, I would NEVER let my child leave my sight. I cannot express how many times I've seen kids wonder on their own and their parent(s) are totally oblivious to what is going on with them. Sometimes I've seen them panic when they lose sight of them, despite that they're only playing in the clothes rack. At times I find myself watching other people's kids because they're too worried about something that is more important than their own kid, and if something were to happen to those kids, I would react to it or try to that is.

Still, that mother had no business leaving her kid in the toy isle, if the kid is bored shopping with you, oh well, it's not like you're spending an eternity there. What could have happened if somehow the illness grew worse and the kid passed out? Oh, look, a missing child!

There are sick people in this world, they just don't do their stuff until the right moment has come forth.

As much as it makes me sound like a terrible person, I think people should have to be screened before being allowed to have children. Idiot parents raise idiot children, and it hurts us all...

See the opening of "Idiocracy" to help understand my POV.

It's so easy to say that you'll never take your eye off of your child before you have one. But you just can not be there at all times. I congratulate that mother on raising a child that knows when to fight and scream. Everyone has common sense, but sometimes people make mistakes. She walked away for an undetermined amount of time, and it could have cost her baby her life.

You just never know what's going to happen. You can't be expected to be on point all of the time. It's literally impossible. It reminds me of like a celebrity case. Mike Tyson walked away from his four year old daughter, and when he found her she had accidentally strangled herself on a treadmill power cord. You just can't be there all of the time. You can't protect them from everything. If you think you can, you're wrong. There are going to be moments in your life when you slip up, or when you make a poor decision. It just frustrates me when people sit around acting like they are holy saints incapable of ever doing anything wrong in their lives, and then they call out other people for their mistakes without taking a second to open their mind.

Also, on the surface, sure, screening before childbirth sounds like a funny/ silly/ good idea. But then you have to wonder, who will set the requirements? Who is in charge of the scannings? It's an easy way to get caught up in a trap that only allows rich white families to reproduce. If you think that's ok, let me know so I can avoid talking with you forever.

It's physically impossible to not take your eyes off your child at least once, unless you plan on being with them constantly for 18 years, having to home-school them and be with them everywhere they go for every moment of their life.

Good luck not sleeping for 18 years straight. It won't happen. And good luck in raising a child who isn't warped out of their mind having no privacy ever.

It's not going to be an easy task once parenthood enters my life. The thing is though, in places where kids could get lost, I don't want my child to think it's perfectly fine to just wonder off and play games when I'm not looking. Yeah, there are going to be instances where I or my husband will not be there all the time for the kid, that's how boo-boos and uh ohs get made, but I don't want to be that person who suddenly loses track of their child because I'm searching for that pretty blouse for a romantic night out instead of keeping an eye on my own kid.

It is a tough task, and its why a lot of people wait to have kids, so that they're ready and confident and it's the perfect time to produce how many children they want. Although I don't believe that a parent should be screened before they take on parenthood, they should however, feel ready and confident and be totally sure that they're ready to take the next step into life.

But then there are people who has an unexpected pregnancy... that's a whole different ball game that I don't think it needs to be brought up.

I greatly dislike it when people who are putting XIII in their worst endings lists...

Here's the thing, XIII didn't really do good with the sales, so Ubisoft didn't bother making another one. The game is based off of a Belgium comic series of the same name, if you're so upset that the game left you with that kind of an ending, go read the comics and find out what happens next.

The game was based off the first fifteen and the last one obviously ended with that ending. Since as what I stated happen, we don't know what happens next. It would have been nice to see that Ubisoft could have finished the series by making more games along with XIII, but sadly, I don't think they ever will.

And to put the game into a bad ending's list, well that's just not fair to be honest. That's how the fifteenth comic ends, it's not some made up ending.

Bah, and I also saw on another list about how someone didn't like Diablo 1's ending becuase it had the hero bashing the crystal into his head. Obviously, you're not a Diablo fan... That ending made sense once you played the second game and hear everyone talking to you about the recent events. The Warrior bashed the soulstone into his head because it's corrupted by Diablo himself. Believing that the Warrior would be a better host for Diablo rather than what he was before.

And as we found out in Diablo 3, Blood Raven and the Summoner was the Rogue and the Mage from the first game, all three characters being corrupted by evil.

You have to literally understand the game first before you put it in a bad game list... There was nothing wrong with either of those endings. You either didn't get it or you just didn't research well enough.

I say the same thing to those who hated the anime ending to Berserk.

READ THE BOOKS AND FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Hey, question. What does "bk" mean? Some guy sent me that followed by "get raped" after a close match of Team Slayer in Reach.

Mind you I went 28-5 and he went 18-7.

The total team score went 50-48, them. My back hurts from all of that carrying...

While looking it up, all I kept seeing was either Burger King, boner killer or Bad Kid.

You're either one of those three.

Smart, good looking, well-off people

"Hey, lets maybe have like, 2 kids, and raise them right"

Stupid, fat, poor people

"Hey lets have 17 kids"

We were doomed from the start.

I could never fathom cheating on someone. I'm at that point where, since roughly half of my life has been spent alone, I'd not take someone who found a way to love me for granted. I honestly don't see it ever happening, but if it does, she'd be a keeper for the sole reason that she took the time to dig down underneath the bullshit to find out what kind of person I really am, and fell in love with it. It wouldn't be hard for me to love someone who fought to find a way to love me, and I'd fight to find a way to love her.

Those are just stupid dreams, though...

In all my years, I've only found one other soul who understood me. She was as crazy as I was, and as insane regarding ideas and philosophy, and something just sparked in me....

I've never felt this way about anyone I've ever met, but, as usual, it wasn't meant to be. I fell like the broken Lego brick that simply won't fit into another piece, and needs to be thrown out.

Why can't I just find someone who will lay down on the grass beside me, staring at the stars? Why can't we just exhale and let it all go and dissolve into the wonderment of how we see things in life?

Such simple moments are all I want from life, yet they seem too much to ask for.

Those moments are only dreams...
