Otherwise you could just say something like "Also, _________" or "On another note, __________" and we will all (or hopefully all) understand that it is unrelated or you are just starting a new topic.

If you think of something after your first post and no one has replied still... there is that handy dandy "edit message" button you can use to not double post.
