MK: I honestly have not been playing or keeping up with tournament info, but I learned I miss this game. And Perfect Legend is the best ever.

SSF4AE: Daigo git bodied. Sad Dieminion and PR Rog lost for 'Murica. And Infiltration is the greatest Akuma ever in history of god. He hit like 6/6 Raging Demons.

UMvC3: my favorite game to watch. I was going for Combofiend cuz that's my dude, but unfortunately he got paired up against Filipino Champ in the first round, his partner with Complexity and Cross Counter. It was some ggs but filipino took it in I think 4 (best 3-5) and then combofiend beat the Mexican guy, then got eliminated by the most annoying dude ever Chris G. Seriously Chris G's morrigan might be the most annoying shit ever. But I used to hate him and now I respect him hard. He got 3rd. It ended up being NorCal (FPChamp) vs SoCal (Infrit) and Infrit who goes to all the Wednesday Night Fights but is not that known yet put on a show. Filipino takes first 3 straight and resets brackets. First to 3 wins it all. Tied up at 2 Filipino Champ takes a really close one. Gooooood shit both players.

Also Justin Wong got bodied in both games. He got ripped in top 8 marvel, and didn't even get top 16 in SSF4AE.

Oh well, plenty of hype for me.

Never understood the hype over game competitions. I don't think I could sit there and watch people play for hours and listen to annoying commentary. But hey, thats just me.

I, for one, could be at a tournament for hours and not get bored.

I'm dying to go to a major.

I wouldn't mind playing in a major tournament or watching one of the major ones but the commentators on all of the streams for them are quite possibly the most fucking annoying people of all time. I really wonder sometimes where they find them.

Fighting game tournament commentators are just ridiculous. I know you guys do commentary but please; shut up while the fight goes on or talk as little. Get people with a listen worthy voice and not some idiots.

I really enjoy MK9 commentators, such as Tom Brady, REO, 9.95 Phil, 16bit or Pig of the Hut.

Really, they are great.

Watching Watchmen, the directors cut. Quite different from the theatrical version. 1000x better.

Reminds me of how Chris Puckett makes me want to drop kick babies every time I watched a Halo event at MLG. Sundance was cool though, and now that they have Walshy commentating as well, there will actually be someone who knows his shit talking about it.

Played MK for a bit earlier. A good session with a satisfying ending was had.

I fought some good players. Lost most matches, which is a good thing 'cause I need more losses.

Idling in the lobby, I found a KoTH session with 3 players within, 2 of them had a negative W/L record, one had quite a fearsome positive W/L record. Being the suspicious guy that I am, I joined this session to investigate. Watched one match before it was my turn, guy used Kano and barely knew any combos while mostly using Knife Throws and Up Balls. My turn, picked Liu Kang, was counter-picked with Sindel. Lost. When it was my turn again, I hidden-selected Noob Saibot, lost to his Kano. When it was my turn once more, I knew who I had to use, I hidden-selected Freddy Krueger!

Things went better this time, fought his predictable Scorpion (had an advantage due to watching him play against a poor opponent), won, turned him into a baby. Next match was against a weak player, decided to play a bit and let him whack my Cyber Subby several times with his Kenshi while movin' around the arena. Still beat him but gave him some hope in the match. The anticipated rematch with the apparent noob-hunter was up next. I hidden-selected Freddy Krueger again. Fought his Sindel, defeated him, Fatalitied him by having Freddy throw his Sindel into the furnace from hell.

It has been a great while since I performed a Fatality on someone online, performing it on an apparent noob-hunter and mimicking Freddy's movements during the Fatality made it feel that much more good.

L.A. Noire is boring as fuck. lol
