This is for the people that camp during SWAT games in Halo 4.

Actually my medical condition acted up and I smacked the back of my head on a metal pipe on some rack thing as I passed out while I was at the cashier in the mall with crutches. No one really did anything to me, it was mainly myself.

God damn it. I might be screwed. My mom is aggravating me. My sister is being a royal bitch cause she's pregnant. My brother is just annoying overall. I have no money to do what I want. I need to head down to worksource so i can get into this internship and with no car and no money, that won't happen. I'm tired of asking my mom for money. I might have to sell my vita for money for the bus. God damn it all to hell.

I now realize just how much of an anger issue I have. Here's a quote from a minute or two.

"I WILL murder you...and sleep on your corpse (like a pillow)....IF you don't shut up."

Camping serves no purpose in SWAT. No motion tracker to encourage camping in that format and you only need one bullet to kill people. If you're getting killed by campers, either stop charging at them or shoot them first.

Camping in any game is pointless unless you have the patience to just sit and wait for people in your sight to move by.

I can't sit there and just hope that my spot has people running back and forth in front of me just to snipe... I gotta go out there and roam around the parts.

But my boyfriend does that... and goddamnit, I hate it when he does. Always picks the most usual spot yet I can't get him fast enough despite I have the faster gun. Our friend, on the other hand, just LOVES to snipe us both...

Campers are so easy to deal with. Just stop running at them. If you keep charging them and dying your only giving them more kills. Best thing to do is completely avoid that area, unless you can flank the camper by going around them.

But camping is a viable strategy. Especially against people who love to rush with Lightweight and Extreme Conditioning. Or if there is something to defend like a flag or an objective, you bet your ass I'm going to camp.

In shooting games, I am aggressive and a Rusher so yeah Camping is pointless for me. I just get out there and kill

Best way to deal with campers is use these things called grenades that you have most of the time. In SWAT, just run around the corner with the magnum (since it is the best gun for SWAT) and shoot them in the face.




There is a huge difference between defending a flag and camping. You can move around an area and defend a flag. Example - In Valhalla/Ragnarok you can move around the base and even go into the wooded area or waterfall area (depending on what team you are) and still defend the flag. You don't have to sit in one spot and basically forget your character has legs like you would if you were going to camp. Defending is a viable strategy.... Camping is not.

What I hate is people who sit in one spot with a Sniper and claim it isn't camping because they are sniping. It's still camping. I do better than almost everyone I know when sniping and it is partially due to the fact that I actually move when playing the game and snipe on the move so they never know where I am.

I'm one of those people who differentiate static sniping and camping, though I only remain in one place with the sniper (in Halo) if I'm getting many kills by staying there. Static snipers in Halo are actually pretty easy to deal with unless they're perched behind rocks or an otherwise easily defensible spot (i.e. just about anywhere on Complex). One strategy that annoys me, though it's perfectly viable and I shouldn't get mad at it, are the people who play team king or ball and static snipe anyone who gets near the objective. Pisses me off because I'm someone who always goes for the objective, K/D be damned.

When I used to snipe in MW2, I was a good enough shot that I didn't need to move. It didn't matter what the enemy team did. If I had any sniping loadout on (with the exception of the Intervention because that gun hates me), I was set. Besides, why shouldn't I camp in CoD when everyone else does?

As far as sniping goes, yes I camp when I snipe. I couldn't see myself running around with a sniper rifle. But I call it camping not sniping.

I mean I'm not saying that campers with snipers are difficult to deal with because they are much easier to deal with than people who move with snipers but it just annoys me when people deny they are camping just because they are holding a certain gun. On most maps there are several spots you can be where you can use a long range weapon as it is meant to be used, so there isn't really a reason to just sit in one spot imo.

It's actually more maps than you think that don't have many spots to safely use those weapons, though. I will rarely if ever take the sniper in my ordnance if I'm on a chaotic map like Adrift or Abandon, because I know that my lifespan isn't going to be too long unless I camp with it. Haven is also a horrible map for snipers, because it's circular and even when sniping straight across, you can't kill anyone unless you land headshots because there's so much cover.

A few of the big team maps don't have the necessary sightlines to properly snipe while remaining mobile. Meltdown and Longbow come to mind here, even Vortex isn't that easy to snipe on unless both teams are occupying the same side of the map. It's up to preference, though. I know you're the type who likes to get in people's faces with the sniper, and I'm the guy who will try to kill people from 10 miles away. I just think that static sniping is different from camping because in a way, that's how snipers are intended to be used.

I know that everyone has their own strategy when it comes to camping, but there was this particular user that had some pretty shitty camping strategies that I've seen.

When I camp, that is if I want to, I move immediately out of the spot and go try to go somewhere else to hide because there's a good chance that the guy I just killed might hunt me down. It's happened before, and I thought it was hilarious when my friend shot a barrage of bullets at nothing, only to get killed by my boyfriend, all because he thought I was hiding there.

But when it came with this girl, she never moved out of her spot. At times, she'd get a kill at me, however, I go in the same spot, and there she is, and I just beat her down either with a knife when she's not looking, or I just shoot her down with my gun like crazy. She never moves, and it's laughable how many kills I got just going after this girl because where she hides just isn't even remotely a good spot for a camper.

She also does two things all the time that annoyed me because they never worked on me more than once. As soon as I caught on what she was doing, she was quite simple to take down.

So, when she camps, she does two things that's annoying. She plants a bouncing betty right next to her. I don't think she understands that if that thing goes off, it kills her too, becuase she constantly gets killed when the enemy walks right passes that, triggering it to go off. Sure, she gets the kill, that is if the enemy isn't fast enough to react, however, she gets killed too. As soon as I saw that thing flashing on the ground, i just aim my gun at that and it explodes, killing her in the process... I think that happened three times with me and she finally stopped throwing that thing around. Lesson learned.

Secondly, she has this perk where she can throw some smoke signal in that acts as a respawn spot. At first, it got me off-guarded because I've never seen that be used before. However, once I figured this out, basically within one time, I go in the room, kill her, duck and wait, then kill her once more. She did this numerous times and every time I have an encounter with her, more kills for me I guess. Planting respawn spots in the same place where you got killed isn't exactly a smart thing to do, especially when the signal is clearly in the eyes of the enemy, getting a hint that something is bound to show up at that marker if they just wait.

So yeah, I've came across very poor campers online, I haven't really met one that surpasses the people that I've played with on a regular basis because they at least have a good strategy that catches me off guard... and I've been with him for more than three years...

True campers always return to their spots, and anyone who uses Tactical Insertion is terribad. I can always tell a scrub is nearby when I see one of those.

I love campers who use Tactical Insertion.
