Getting old is kinda awesome.
I used to hate vegetables, but now I can't get enough shit on my pizza or sandwich. This makes for a heartier, more filling meal.

Mind telling us how you got shadow banned?
MKO thinks that a majority of their users are using a dial-up connection, so in order to cater to them they set an archaic standard for the file size of avatars and signatures. I went over that limit with the awesome GIF.
Why in Hell would you release a game on a cartridge in the CD age? Since the SNES era (bloodless MK, for example), Nintendo has catered exclusively to a particular class of gamer--children or adults with the brain capacity and/or entertainment level of a child.
I have fond memories of NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance; GameCube being the first Nintendo console I have no actual experience with. While I cannot state strong opinions about a console I have no experience with, I could also say that the GameCube was quite a letdown in the series of Nintendo consoles (partly explaining why I switched to Xbox), though the Nintendo Wii gracefully brought it up into the competition again. The Nintendo 64 is definitely a worthy shot and overall better than the PlayStation One (I know; I've been through these very subjects). With experience of the both, I can say that the PlayStation One's greatest upside was the reality-simulating games, namely Gran Turismo. Multiplatform games such as Grand Theft Auto 2 gathered a wide audience for the PSX, yet that didn't make it the superior console seeing GTA was and has always been better on the computer. Sony was certainly too hasty with the development towards realism – after all the PlayStation was still far, far away from photorealism and continues to be.
The N64 was widely more innovative and had far less rushed games in comparison to the PSX. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time must have been one of the biggest successes of the N64, if not the biggest, and to this day it is a game worthy of delving into. Mario Kart 64, the sequel to Super Mario Kart, was decent along with GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Pilot Wings, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64 in the U.S.) and Super Mario 64. Turok was a lackluster in my bookshelf. |
I played the latest Mario Kart, for the Wii, in my friend's and I find no reason for me to take a step backwards in development of a series that has hardly changed throughout its seven installations. Many of the games required friends to play with nonetheless; the Nintendo 64 was not the console for a loner in general. To this day, probably only Ocarina of Time would make me plug my Nintendo 64 to the TV and even that feels iffy considering the analog sticks always lost their responsiveness especially if you played a lot of the first-person shooters. GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time (the foremost N64 games IMO) have all been refurbished in the 21st century, thus going back to an inferior console serves little to no purpose if you have got the new accordingly consoles at hand. Still, the Nintendo 64 was a pioneer in the gaming industry in a plethora of aspects. The incapability of adjusting to a children-themed game and enjoying it can likewise derive from possible stupidity. There is nothing wrong with being childlike sometimes, childish is another thing.
Nothing is more ignorant than blaming the opinions of an audience of a system one has no real experience with, you «fruitcake went bananas».Carry on, have fun, learn, prosper, maybe eat a little, take a nap, be well.
I've never had that kind of "hipster" attitude. I like the new consoles, I like the new games! [...] I prefer the new Mortal Kombat over any of the new old ones. [...] They were all awesome consoles of their respective time, but I don't think they can compare to the new technology, graphics, gameplay and stories that the new consoles and games bring us.
Thinking back on how it was back in the day with the old games do hit my nostalgia right in the heart, but I prefer to put the past behind me and look forward to new games, new consoles and new stories to be told.
Jesus Christ, your smartass remarks make me want to rip your nuts off. But I can't do that. So ill sit here silently and watch you get away with stuff the MODS would normally be on your ass for.

Murcielago did indeed proceed to sit there silently since he may not have talked out loud and, assuming the incoherent Internet slang, he wrote that in future tense and he did not break the pledge before your response. Furthermore, Murcielago was speaking to Jesus, not you, QuestionMark.
Harassing and degrading other members is not acceptable. As such, there'll be very little tolerance for "flaming".I will, however, make a diligent effort to cut back on making those "observations". That is all.
I am agape to find out the measures of cowardice from the community in situations like these, and that includes the staff. If there are specific rules written, then you have to follow them. If you cannot follow and instruct them correctly, you are not eligible for counseling them either. I do not mean that anyone should go rampant and do egoistic choices now but to do what is right without many exceptions; neither do I imply that every user would have been cowardly herein yet this didn't go exactly as supposed to either.
I will accommodate Jaded-Raven & co. for great efforts still and all, and by no means I intend to eradicate anyone here. In the end, there is no wrong or right console; I for one have an Xbox 360 despite I believe the PS3 draws the longest straw in general – preferences. The bottom line being: the N64 is better than what you gave credit for. That is virtually my €0.02.

I won't lose interest in video games until after MK vs. SF is made. After that, I don't care if I ever see a video game again.
MK vs. SF & MK vs. TK, then my life will be complete

And this particular piece means a great deal to me, as it is one of the reasons I started composing. However, this piece belongs to Dan Forden, one of my two biggest inspirations in music (the other being Prince), and I wouldn't dare take a chance on offending him or his work.
But the idiot in me says "DO IT!"
I think I'm going to give it a shot, though. I think I've developed enough skill for the music to be at least half as good as the original.
I guess I'm doing it. I'm going to compose a cover for The Living Forest.
I'm scared.

Someone please tell me why am I not enjoying any video games I've been playing lately. I played all stars and immediately got bored with it (I usually give a game a couple days before I'm done but not this one. After one day I was done).Tried playing No More Heroes and Ratchet and Clank and not enjoying them as much as I should. This isn't a recent dilemma, it's been happening for months, probably years now. Maybe I'm just not satisfied with games anymore. Maybe I need to go out and get some sort of social life. I don't know. God damn it.
It's because games are not as fun as they were before, now it's all about the money.

Please be joking.

In other news, Shoe shared with me the Donkey Kong Country Competition Cartridge. Basically you play for 5 minutes and see how many points you could rake up. I got this far:

It would have been awesome if the score counter was in the full game. Bananas.

Kinda. DLC and shooters left me a bad taste of this generation.

I must admit I agree.
DLC always seemed unnecessary and I never liked FPS anyway.
I've always preferred the older generations over the newer. The complexity of games nowadays is just overwhelming. That's why I love MK2011 so much. It brought back the simplicity of gaming. Hell, Deception is one of my favorite video games, but I still could have done without the multiple fighting styles. I would often just stick to one style per character, like Shotokan for Sub-Zero and Drunken Fist for Bo' Rai Cho.
And again, I really don't like DLC, which is I was so glad Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition was releasd. I bought that shit immediately. lol I just feel if I pay what's due for a game, I should get all of it, not pieces of it, and I sure as hell shouldn't have to buy those pieces when I already bought the game.
Take a hint from Pokemon, people! Arceus and Genesect were free!
