I can respect this, because Horton isn't one of the numerous dirty players on the Bruins. Chara (hit on Pacioretty), Lucic (mowing down Miller), Boychuk (hooking Raymond and then awkwardly pushing him into the boards), and Ference (obvious boarding on McDonagh) all come to mind.

The thing that I actually hate most about the Bruins are their announcers. Holy shitballs are they a couple of retards who have no business being anywhere near hockey.

Also, our team has four Cups.

Who do you root for? I root for the Bruins, Penguins and Caps.

I'm a Rangers fan, through and through. Always have been, always will be. My second team is the Coyotes.

I'm a Detroit Red Wings fan to the core. I don't think I could ever call myself a true fan and root for another squad, let alone a conference rival (i.e., B's/Pens).

Pavel Datsyuk is my favorite player on the current roster with Henrik Zetterberg coming in at a close second. Steve Yzerman is my clear-cut favorite Red Wing of all-time, though.

I like the Wings too, I actually own a Wings jersey since I used to collect hockey jerseys. I love watching Datsyuk and Zetterberg play, the flow they have to their styles is like poetry in motion. Also, Datsyuk's patent move in shootouts is absolutely devastating (though Mike Smith made an incredible save on it once, seen here).



I would've loved to have seen that. Two years ago I went to the game where the Rangers beat the Coyotes at Madison Square Garden in a shootout, it was amazing watching my two favorite teams go at it. The only reason I pulled for the Kings at all in the playoffs is because they were my pre-season pick to win it all, and they delivered. Watching them in the playoffs made me hate them though, particularly Dustin Brown.

Though, we do have a hockey thread.

This sinus infection makes me feel like someone punched me in the face.

That was an incredible save. Though, Bertuzzi made Smith look like a retarded seal with this move, lolz (same game; Bertuzzi with the winning goal in the shootout). Hats off to Smithy for being the only goalie to say that he made a save on the patented Datsyukian deke, though.

I love most sports, but hockey is for real men. When hockey season is finally underway, I'd love to partake in the hockey thread.

I remember that move, as I watched it live on my GameCenter setup. Spin-o-ramas are always borderline in shootouts, because technically the puck must always be moving forward or else it's illegal and it doesn't count. Smitty has a number of sick saves on his resume. See here and here. The second one almost made me order a Smith jersey on the spot.
